"Port Vale's director of football David Flitcroft said the club had "immense gratitude" to Clarke for returning them to League One after a five-year absence, but their run of two wins from 18 league games had demanded a change."  That David Flitcroft?

No red cards for Kachunga? Did the one Dion Charles got for being mistaken for a black player actually go on Charles’ stats then?

Yes. The suspension was transferred to Kachunga, but the Red stays on Charles' record.

Seems unfair that if it was officially overturned!!

It does a bit, but the record has to reflect the referees decisions during a match. As far as I'm aware, the only time a red card is removed from a players record is if it's rescinded DURING the match, for example after a VAR review.
