  1. You are increasingly appearing stupid. They have said several times materials are short. You can choose to believe them or not, your choice, but as usual you've no evidence of the contrary. Just being argumentative as ever. Fucking do one.

  2. You never ever mention what the government have done that is positive, on political matters you are an utter tit and slightly worse than Mick the red.

  5. Last year or so I have been learning Spanish with a woman who teaches Spanish players/coaches English. She’s really good and I’m fluent enough in it to speak to my colleagues in Spanish. I was going to use this time off to learn another language but instead I’m going to learn sign language. There’s a lady at work who’s really lovely and she signs and I only know the basics so I’m hoping to surprise her with a conversation when I go back with my new acquired skills. I’ve also found out my daughters friend at nursery is deaf so I’m going to learn it with my daughter so she can interact more with her when she goes back.

Only just got chance to go for the daily walk and it's really quite heart warming seeing all the houses where kids have drawn rainbows and stuck them in the windows, they'll remember this time forever. Side note, it's so clear in the sky that we saw the International Space Station go over and Mars is standing out tonight, in the words of Dave Higson "shining like... Like a light".

  19. Bus driver A chap in the 80s & 90s who you'd always see at Burnden in his brown GM Buses uniform. He must have wangled something with his bosses for time off as I used to see him at away games too. Last saw him around the time we left Burnden and I said to my mate, quietly I thought, "Hey up, bus drivers here" only for him to shout at me "I've not worked on the buses for bloody years!"

  21. The second paragraph in that tweet. ’You don’t need to be a critical worker to travel for work purposes – if you cannot work from home you can still go to work.’ Some people on social media don’t seem to understand this and that includes on here.

  22. ‘Eccentric but successful businessman !!’ how quaint. I think the ‘Sinister devious self centred snout in the trough type who I would n’t even let hug my grandchildren’ is a much better description of him.’ I keep forgetting that all these stories and videos about him are fake news. 😂😂😂 I must have missed your fishing smiley.

  27. The problem we have is that most people want to be wealthier, most don't want to be poorer. We don't realise how well off we already are in the UK, most of us live in a bubble where we compare our wealth against our neighbours, friends and colleagues - not saying I'm any different, I think it's human nature to do so. have a look at this see how wealthy this model thinks you are compare to he rest of the world https://www.givingwhatwecan.org/get-involved/how-rich-am-i/

  34. I know plenty l, myself included, who have been furloughed. I don't know anyone who has volunteered for it. Surely though, if folk are running to their bosses' office asking for it then you'd imagine this won't be forgotten if/when redundancies have to be made. Regarding the other points, if the Government start asking us to do other work, eg delivering stuff, I'd happily do it. It doesn't sit right with me being sat on my arse getting paid for doing nothing when I could be helping elsewhere.

  35. Sorry. i was mistaking the jubilant “4 more years” type phraseology as a validation for him. I didn’t realise you all thought he was shit. If I didn’t know any better, I’d get to thinking that you only like him because he upsets most people. But at least you and Royal are now on board. It was only a matter of time. 👍

  41. Jesus Take the 80% and be fucking grateful that the system we pay into is coming to the party. It's not like we've all got weekends out/holidays/anything at all extra to pay for. It'll cover your bills, and keep you in enough comfort to sit on your fucking sofa until this calms down. I fail to see what else people expect. Entitled cunts we are at times. Me an all, by the way.
