The advice is just not clear enough. Exercise in parks responsibly is bollocks. People don’t know what that means. We will be locked down because our government can’t give clear advice. Strurgeon, Sadiq Khan said don’t go out. Simple as that. Boris is waffling about exercise in green parks responsibly. It’s bollocks.

Edit: he’s just been called out on this by a journalist finally.

Been in isolation since Tuesday and reckon I've put nearly 1/2 stone on, it's like being on an all inclusive holiday with the angel of death as your travel rep.

I’m gonna clean up with private weight loss sessions

 This time next year rodders.....

Surely it means you can exercise (walk, run, circuit etc) whilst maintaining the social distance?

People are taking their kids to park. That’s what he’s talking about. He was asked if he’d ever taken a child to the park and told them they need to exercise responsibly. There are kids congregating in parks. A simple message would be ‘don’t go to parks’. Simple as that. He’s waffled on without saying anything remotely useful. There are lists being drawn up on Facebook with precise and specific advise. He’s now talking about preserving pleasure of going out. But the problem is simple you can’t go out and guarantee social distance. It’s not possible for most people.

Crystal clear that it does

Only confusing if you are looking for something confusing

That’s why kids have been playing in parks this weekend. Parks full of them. Why groups of adults have been walking and running together. If I went for a run I cannot guarantee I won’t come close to others. Not out of my house. People need to be told very clearly what this means. If you take kids to a park you cannot guarantee a 2m distance, it’s impossible. Therefore should be told clearly, not to.

I think we can take from that, we'll be in a full lockdown within a few days, sadly the public can't be trusted to isolate properly. At least now, those bell ends who kept saying "it still doesn't kill as many as flu" seem to have finally decided to pipe down, so you would hope that most realise its a pretty serious event

You was on about exercising in parks and said it was bollocks. It’s not, it’s simple even for the most simpletons. 2m distance

He was talking about benefits in general including kids. It’s really confused. A sole adult can do a lot but you can’t guarantee what someone else will do. There aren’t many parks in Bolton on a sunny afternoon you can guarantee you will stay two metres away at all times.

It's more that the government aren't being clear enough

Its simple and obvious to us, but look at link miami posted, people are interpreting the government advice as "we can still go for a day out to the park or wherever"

The only thing that will be clear, and hopefully work, is full on lockdown

They aren't interpretating anything, they're ignoring it... Ignorant, selfish mongrels.

Maybe, maybe not, but whilst the message is you can excerise responsibly in the park, people will go to the park, mingle, share playground equipment, not maintain distance etc

Whether they are obtuse or ignorant, it's happening because of the vague message from the top

Like urging people not to go to the pub, then having to shut them down, either because they don't care or they think they can maintain distance from other folk

The message needs to be clearer
