Fans need to chill I ain’t happy with the result and felt IE picked wrong team and slow making changes buts he’s best manager we’ve had for a long time, we’re building steadily and Rome weren’t built in a day.5 likes

I'm glad there's no league game for a fortnight now. It's a natural pause in the season to reflect. In the long term we are 6th and there's still 30 games of the season to go. We've a transfer window in a couple of months and the trajectory of the club is still an upward curve. In the short term, October has been a poor month with a sequence of winnable games that we've made a right meal of. It feels like the division has sussed out our 5-3-2 formation and we ourselves have been staid and stifled. IE needs to change the system to better release our attacking artillery and better impose ourselves on games. Today's team selection was stubbornness in the face of the obvious. We knew in the Summer that there was a queue of big clubs in this league. We're not at the top of that queue yet. We need to be patient but we also need signs of short-term remedial action to keep us in the top six fight.4 likes

Bin today's result off . 2 sloppy goals given away. 1 just after we had got back into it. Roll on November. Ps . Sat with my 5yr old grandson today. That meant more to me than the result.2 likes

Forget Dapo at WB, he’ll never be a wingback as long as he’s got a hole in his arse, get him playing further up the pitch were he’s at his best. Katchunga needs benching because he brings fuck all to the table, i’d play Sadlier instead. We need to play the game on the front foot instead of sideways/backward passes. I still a believe in IE, but deary me he’s one stubborn fucker.2 likes

Going to take a punt that you are under 30. My kids expect everything immediately, life just isn’t like that. This time two years ago we were flirting with the national league. If 40 places progress is snails pace then you are deluded.2 likes

When have we gone backwards under Evatt’s regime. I know we are not playing well right now but we are still moving forwards.2 likes

I must admit, not a week goes by when I don't appreciate where the club is now. When we lose, the disappointment is about 2 out of 10. When it was Harrogate, Barrow and Crawley that looked better than us, the anger was 8 out of 10. As long as we are nowhere near the drop zone, I continue to look forward to the next game. If we don't go up, who cares, we start again in August. That's not to be confused with not making comments on tactics, selections etc, but the future of the club isn't at stake, its a game to be enjoyed and the other improvement on 2 years ago is we have the luxury of attending games now.1 like

Correct...... Too much fucking about changing the team for me..... Dapo at LWB isn't working either....1 like

Horner Just fuck off. Sick pay. Catering. Ffs. Really? You got off lightly. Brundle nailed it. The best voice in F1 by a long way. Decent penalties imo. Not stupidly prohibitive but setting down a marker Now let’s talk about Financial Fair Play in footy… And how effective the authorities are…1 like

A comparison between the two is ridiculous. Whilst in no way defending JLL's marriage to his teenage cousin, he was not a predatory peadophile. Marriage to a 13 year old is still legal (whilst morally unacceptable ), in many states of the USA today. Whilst we can all decry his personal choices, he was as stated, a musical genius. Poor do today, it happens. Oxford worked their bollocks off, in our faces all day. Think the players we have are plenty good enough for this league,as others have mentioned, seem to have a few just off form. Long way to go, be reet.1 like

Do you think we are in a position as a football club that we should be winning every game by now?1 like
-
Absolutely. I disagree with @Black Sheep and @radcliffe white Yes, today was poor, not good enough But while there’s things not right at the moment, he’s aware of this, he’s not in cloud cuckoo land, he’s come out after the game and admitted it’s not been good enough this month. He’s changed personnel, tactics, used early subs, rotated (probably too much) the squad, in a attempt to find solutions. But we’re still 6th. He’s turned around our fortunes before, his position at the club is not and should not be questioned. Interesting and strange few months ahead.1 like

From the day he walked in the building 3-5-2 was what he wanted. He changed it half way through L2 because of our position and the players available demanded it. as soon as he could he brought in players to better suit the 3-5-2 and we went on a run last season so it completely vindicated the decision now with a mixture of teams sussing us out and our strongest asset being front foot football and our attacking options he’s almost back to square 1 where a change in formation is required he’s tried to placate the clamour for Dapo to be in by playing him in every position he can within the formation he wants. It hasn’t worked. It’s detrimental to the team and the player. 4-3-3 might piss of some players who have been quite comfortable but he’s already doing that with the others on the fringes anyway. id much rather him try and find a solution by acknowledging what he wants might not be the best thing for us currently over dressing up the same formation with different players as our Plan B.1 like

We clearly lack physicality (as we have done ever since Evatt took over), a few pointed this out in the summer, we also clearly lack a proper goal scorer (Evatt was apparently offered loads of top quality goal scorers in the summer just before the transfer window ended, in fact he was astounded at the quality of players offered, but thought that the strikers he had were better). He's obviously fell out with our best LWB (John), and chased & signed several players over the past year or so (Sadlier, Dempsey, Morley, Bodvarsson etc.) yet hasn't played them much over the past few months. We've struggled over the past 6 games or so playing 5 at the back (and only really pulled it back at Accrington & Burton going 4-4-2 and going for it) - yet he still doesn't change anything, playing Dapo at LWB is shocking. As I've said he (Evatt) thinks he's Guardiola, but he really isn't and his stubbornness and lack of tactical nous & experience will cost us, if the fans are happy to stay in League 1 for a few more years whilst he learns his trade then fine, but if I was FV I'd be asking questions of Evatt as to why a lot of teams with only 1/2 of our wage budget seem to be able to tactically out think & outfight us.1 like

Ipswich we’re 4-2 up 7 minutes into injury time and didn’t win. This league is fckin crazy.1 like

Must admit I thought we were on for another miracle comeback when we pulled back to 1-2, but yet another bunch of League One shithouses that we can’t figure out how to beat. Ball in play for about 27 minutes all day. Evatt is absolutely unnecessarily stubborn about the formation, but playing against 10 behind the ball there’s no reason why Dapo can’t be pushing on out wide and instead he’s just pottering about down the middle. Not unique in that given we had a chronic lack of width despite the wing backs but we just can’t seem to find any space when we need it. Might have been a different game if it weren’t for that worldie save first half but we’ve just got to figure out getting the first goal in games like these1 like

In my opinion (sorry if it differs from the majority), is that he's not good enough or clever enough to get us out of league 1, although I agree that it sounds daft saying that whilst in the top 6. If he played our best players in a 4-4-2 and attacked teams from the off, we would put teams on the backfoot, but this 5 at the back at with a defensive midfielder at home against a weakened team just negates any advantage. Apologies for all who loves Evatt, but I honestly can't see how he's our biggest asset, the Accrington & Burton comebacks just papered over the cracks, on the back of defeats at Cheltenham & FGR.1 like

I can see what you’re saying with that and I agree. To a point there’s been a lot of noise recently about evolving players. Sorry but I ain’t arsed about evolving Dapo from what he was and what he’s good at to a front man. Just fucking play him where he can cause damage. And No 10, up front or LWB isn’t it said something similar about Morley the other day, up to the point where he got dropped he was probably our best player. stop trying to change the world and give yourself the best chance of winning football matches1 like

I'll be honest I want him gone, he's nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. He needs to stop being such a stubborn, 'know it all' twat, who thinks that he's Guardiola.1 like

Not good enough Evatt, awful team selection, awful tactics - how the hell this team is still top 6 is puzzling. Evatt needs to stop being such a stubborn know it all cnut and stop this 5 at the back negative shite and go for it from the off with 4-4-2 and Dapo as a left winger. There is no physicality in this team, so fcuking soft. Oxford are injury & suspension hit and still want it more than us, more street wise - I have no idea what Evatt thinks when selecting teams & formations any more, most of our bench are better than the players he starts with - the same lack of intensity & tempo as it has been recently.1 like

Let’s be honest we’ve been awful for 145 mins of the previous 180 before today but got ourselves of of jail. We’re not a good team at the moment, we’ve just had a knack of winning - it’s tough to do that game after game, at some point you have to start playing well.1 like

I've lost some timber recently, and felt pretty good about how I look for the first time in years. Missus and I have been together for 25 years, so we stopped at Last Drop. My behind new found body confidence was instantly shattered when the entire French national team walked into the hot tub... All looking gallic or like Pogba X John Cena1 like

Deadly serious. Not being the usual WUM I assure you. Not looking for bites but trying to get folk to give it a try and get away from the brainwashing of the mainstream media news programmes which are anything but politically neutral. Of course then they may have to think instead of letting 'the elite' do it for them so there may be a price to pay which is beyond some.1 like
