  1. This whole charade and the £24m payout just illustrates perfectly what’s wrong with football in this country since the PL was created. It’s just insane.
  2. That'll be useful if anyone ever claims there's been an increase in murder rate
  3. If Conway & Tutu are our wingers next season, we're fucked before we start.
  4. He resembles Will of the inbetweeners when he eats all that Weed. “Mummy or ambulance” going round in his head
  5. Weak leadership/mentality at the back. Toal & Johnston, captain & vice captain, both struggling to hold their own game together, never mind being able to rally/gee up the troops after conceding a goal.
  6. You insinuated the reason the Blackrod case apparently wasn't mentioned on here was because those convicted weren't Pakistani-Muslim.
  7. Same with the last TV deal. Trumpeted as more money for the game. Reality was wages increased further and fans were further inconvenienced with ridiculous KO times.
  8. I see Trump’s crypto company is being sued for extortion. Set up by Trump and his son. Co-founder is Zach Witkoff, son of property developer Steve Witkoff (who Trump appointed as Middle East envoy, and who works alongside Trump’s son in law - who Trump appointed as Envoy For Peace). The current US administration stinks of corruption. At least they’re sticking it to George Clooney. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c8x7kxjgq9xo
  9. Take the fat cross-eyed manc cunts ankle in the first minute and put the big mard bastard out of the game.
  10. I've always thought he looks a bit like Neil. Nothing to do with football, just his face really.
  11. 😂 I’ve seen and thought this! 3rd time in a few weeks I’ve laughed out loud with a bit of player bashing (something I’m not really into!) Hope nobody has just looked in my direction - I’d be looking like a lunatic. I’ve just tried to mimic his little panic gesture where he seems to sprint with fear in his eyes, blowing, with and his elbows slightly outstretched. 🤣
  12. Tell the scruffy cunts to run the marathon themselves.

It's a good effort to find something to moan about at the most popular comedian in the country choosing to do a run of shows in Bolton, exclusively for people who live in the town with all profits going to the local hospice.

Yes, incredible also to think Lincoln were losing most games in the National League when Leicester were winning the Prem and now Lincoln are above them. A great stat I saw was that Coventry didn't finish in the top 6 of any division from 1970 to 2018! Since then they've managed it 5 times.
  16. Humphrys and Power will be looking to leave their mark.
  17. You need to make up a tragic tale like @gonzo did and then get some football cards in

Getting a load of councils run by Reform & the Greens so far away from a General Election will probably help the main parties further down the line. In two years time, when they've made an absolute fuck-up of running councils (like Reform are on the way to doing already), they'll have made themselves unelectable.
  19. Not sure about that, but there are many in the running that are all very close. Atleast Tommy's not actually running for Government on a "patriotic" anti-Muslim ticket whilst residing in a Muslim country, like Richard Tice - who also stashes most of his money in offshore tax havens, and doesn't even pay his required onshore taxes.
  20. Mrs E and I are running London marathon on Sunday. Obviously we are on the beg for donations. these were last minute places with limited time to fundraise. if you can spare anything it is great appreciated. https://2026tcslondonmarathon.enthuse.com/pf/michelle-lord
  21. Only looks right to me when it has 'Arms' after it.
  22. Hope yesterday has gone OK, and well done for Sunday. My daughter ran it too - we were there opposite the watering station near the 25 mile mark - her first Marathon, and our first watching - we got a buzz just cheering everybody on. BTW - She did it in 4:51 so you were beaten by a girl.

wouldn't have a game without them.
  24. top managers consistetly win things, that's basically it arteta's teams keep throwing away great opportunities, and that's why they are seen as bottlers pep might not always win titles, but he's won everything over and over again at 3 different clubs it's like saying you can't judge ferguson because he only ever won things with utd, but sometimes didn't win things as you say, they may yet walk away with a title and the CL, but we've been here before with them
  25. They are going to have a bloke dressed as a copper waving a hard drive running behind him.......he should set a new world record 🤣🤣
  26. March 2015: 27,401 knife-enabled criminal offences September 2025: 47,275 knife-enabled criminal offences
  27. Great minds 😉
  28. Britain has never been safer. There's just more cameras and instant newsfeeds.
  29. Sure there is one 🤣 but I haven’t seen it found this interesting though which supports @Eddie view 60% of goals conceded are in the 20-25 mins after half time with 45% within the first 15 mins and we all sit there nice and comfortable after a decent first half then 20 mins later we’re all asking the question as to what the fuck has just gone one 🤣
  30. They overarching group is called Social Interest Group. https://socialinterestgroup.org.uk/about-us/ they do a lot of work in prisons and work with people to stay off the streets / build a life after prison

The middle ones are a right pain in the arse. They'll turn up when the BEN are around but can't get them to do the day job for love or money, or they love to spout off in the BEN but don't have any interest in paying attention to the answer as they've been seen to be anti whatever the latest bugbear is.

    Took me 6 today ! I had letters 1 4 and 5 after first go !
  34. I heard he hasn't even got a brother
  35. He's put himself in a tricky position, as he's threatened to completely take out their infrastructure (power stations and bridges).......but realistically, he knows he can't do that (and he won't), and I suspect Iran know he won't do it either. We now have some weird standoff, where Iran is blockading the Straits, and the US are blockading the Iranian ports. At some point something will have to give.
  36. Personally think we need 4 points to achieve 3rd. Mathematically it looks like we need more but think other teams will also falter. so would much rather go in to Luton needing just the point rather than 3

They're not making a pigs ear of them as you put it. Some aren't being run well, others are. Exactly as happens with any party. Which adds to my belief that councils shouldn't be run on party political grounds. Simply needs good people with knowledge of a particular area that they can bring to work for the people of their town. Reform will gain more councillors here in Bolton, but not enough to become a majority, so will have little opportunity to change anything.
  38. He'd have a point if there was a wide scale scandal, cover up, and full blown national enquiry into the grooming of white English girls by White Teenagers from Blackrod.
  39. I've a few crack head shoplifters in town ready to hit JD sports display stand

I’d like to see Stockport sneaking in by not winning another game, finishing 6th so we can see them off in the semi after us finishing 3rd.

Reform will clear the nation's problems quicker than God created the earth. We'll be out of the ECHR on day 1, the boats will stop on day 2, anyone darker than budget magnolia paint will be deported on day 3, income tax & VAT scrapped on day 4. They'll be able to have the weekend off.

It won’t happen but your maths are shocking if they win by 2 and we lose by 2 Saturday then the goal difference is down to five so a defeat by 3 would put them over us.

How good is football. Clearly not for Leicester fans at the moment but the ups and the downs are ridiculous

Nicely summed up. Our forwards made some stupid falls early to put ref on their defenders’ side and they attacked our 3rd then 4th choice LB who’s midfield assistant lost every challenge if he even got near it. Good luck Saturday

We can in theory ruin Huddersfield, Bradford and Luton's chance in successive weekends, what's more fun than that?
  46. That pitch wasn't good enough to put livestock on. Imagine ACD on that glorious Wembley turf.
  47. it matters not who we play. This is basically a mini tournament, just like FA Cup (apart from everyone plays their first team) Complete lottery and i fucking hate them. They’re great viewing when your not involved.
