5 games this back line 1 conceded (3 against top sides), also an assist & goal whilst playing together

Santos is clumsy always a clanger away for me he sits on bench and waits for his turn

Every player in League 1 is due a clanger at any moment. That's why they're playing in League 1.

Keeper has played most of their games by the looks of it so that has to be a positive, you’d think?

Depends if we are considering having a shot on target. I slightly jest but I’m worried we used our weekly goal on tues.

Didn't somebody mention on here the other week that IE had a similar theory to Allardyce about not taking pot shots etc? xG and all that bollocks (he really was ahead of his time, wasn't he?)

Aye seen summat like that. It sounds great when it works and a bit silly when it doesn’t. When it doesn’t work it sounds a bit Dougie

Arguably it's more prevalent now than under big Sam. At least we'd use free kicks as an opportunity to get balls into the box, even if they were a way from goal.

Now, unless the set piece is fairly close, we play it short.

Someone said before, there is a correct balance to be had.

Thing is, if the opposition has done their homework theyll know this. They'll be drilled in to standing off knowing we generally fuck about with it till we can Charles away or cut in from the byline.

Like you say balance is key.

Shooooot

Absolutely. The likes of Morley, Demspey, and Sheehan in midfield are all capable.

Blimey! Dan Nlundulu must have some shot on him - he's injured Geth with it....

Evatt also revealed that Gethin Jones is set to miss Saturday’s clash with Portsmouth at the University of Bolton Stadium.

The defender was absent from the Papa Johns Trophy quarter-final on Tuesday night after picking up a knock in training.

The manager explained: “Everyone is fine from the other night. Gethin took a bit of a bang from one of Dan Nlundulu’s shots on Monday in training, so he has got a bit of bruising on his knee.

“It is nothing structural or serious, it is just literally a bit of swelling and bruising. We are waiting for it to settle down, so he is probably going to miss Saturday again.

Geth's made of balsa.

One of them stingers by the sounds of it.

Leaves a ball shaped bright red mark, especially in the cold, and it feels like you have a fiery lump there for a while.

Have we not got a magic sponge and a bucket of water at training grounds???
