If Charles was ever going to be rested/rotated, this might be the game. He rarely plays a full 90 like he did Tuesday and with another game Monday, IE might just use this as an opportunity to see a different strike-force in action.

Could we see a Vic/JDB combination start (in a league game) for the first time?

Not a chance 😀 (in my opinion).

Charles and Santos would have to have a run of terrible games not to be first names on teamsheet in league games (outfield).   No league game for 12 days after Monday, he'll get plenty rest then if he needs it.

Banning order for buying a ticket in the home end?

Not something I'd do personally;on the couple of occasions I've sat with home fans I've not enjoyed it, but I didnt even realise that such an action could legally be punished with a banning order.

For football fans the authorites  make the rules up as they go along .

Stick a just stop oil banner in your bag and they will escort you to the centre circle and help you roll it out

Is Iredale injured? Would have been tempted to bring him in at left wing back for this one, but otherwise really strong team. Confident of a win

BWFC twitter account says he misses out with a knock.

Solid team that, midfield I expected but a little surprised at JDB in for Vic. Feels as though JDB has become a genuine starting option now though and it will be him or Vic alongside Charles depending on fitness/oponent/workload.

Can see Vic playing against his old team on Monday,so keeping him fresh?

Agree with that, makes complete sense. It’s great to see that JDB is at that point now where Evatt ‘trusts’ him to be a starter and we’ve got genuine options and can do things like rest Vic so he’s fresh for Burton.

It’ll be interesting to see what he does in Jan because although we’ve almost added a starting option with JDB we’re actually going from having 5 and a half (being Jerome) options for the 90 mins to 3.5 with Dan injured and CMG going off on international duty. He’s got to go and get another striker in my opinion otherwise we are so reliant on these 3 staying fit for the second half of the season!
