Wanderlust
Could have won, should’ve won and in reality needed to win as Barnsley are still in the box seat, but after the first half and early second half goal I could only dream of a late comeback seeing our finishing was so poor. We even struggled to score the fookin penalty. Why Maghoma didn’t start after his master class in killer passes against Cambridge, I’ll never know but at least he got on. Finishing aside, there are lessons to be learned. Our “plan A” has Ben sussed out for months now and whilst I understand that the system has been drilled into players recruited to play that way, it would be nice to start with plan B occasionally. The other bugbear is our lack of discipline at times. Last thing we need is unnecessary bookings, suspensions and dismissals- and it’s not just George at fault. I’m celebrating a great comeback tonight - but I’d rather have been celebrating the win that our creativity deserved.

onefinfrandsen
Great last half hour enhanced by the subsitutions, when we play like that there’s no one in this league can touch us.
Site Supporter Spider Posted March 5 Site Supporter Share Posted March 5 They’d bottled it after 45 minutes. Dead and buried. All hope was lost. Luckily, the manager and the lads on the pitch made amends and for that they deserve huge credit. Patience is a virtue gentlemen.
gonzo
Shout out for Collins who I thought really grew in to it 2nd half. Especially when he was more central. Be a big player for us him.

No harm in saying he’s frustrated. ‘Love it here but frustrating at times’ with a wry smile. Was part of a wider chat and obviously went on further.. May well be true for a few with all the chopping and changing recently. He's showing us now what a decent centre half he is, and a natural for that left side. Why play someone out of their natural position when it arguably makes the team a touch weaker?

Yeh he seems to chop and change everywhere aside from the back 3 which to the lads not in must be frustrating particularly when both he and Forrester haven’t done anything wrong. But hey ho it’s the price you pay for having a squad of players who all legitimately think they should be starting anyway that’s the talk for another day. Props to Jack when he came on and the rest of em for grinding that out tonight another side point.. Connell the best midfielder in the league? Sheehan took the absolute piss. Hence him clattering him near the end

If anyone wants a laugh, keep your eye on Tomo when pen's awarded, and again when Williams scores. Great shit housing. Anyway, what a fantastic last 30 minutes. Can't believe the stick Jerome gets, pleased for him the impact he had. Collins a good 2nd half deserved to earn a pen, Tomo great 2nd half, Santos superb. Agree with everyone wanting Jones at RWB, I would have had him there as first choice all season given the options at CB and the fact that when JDC plays, it means Iredale doesn't and Toal is out of position on the left (barring injuries). Our best back 5 is clear as day to me, with plenty good back up to cover for injuries. Anyway, a great confidence boost, superb comeback, pleased for every happy clapper and every doomsday merchant, and everyone in between. Happy for IE too, that will put a spring back in his step. L/H White
Abysmal first half Dreadful start to the second half Then all of a sudden they shown more fight n bottle then I've ever seen from them before Fairplay Thought Collins and Vic started to grow into when they came off, but Bod & Jerome caused absolute carnage Should have won, got to be happy with a point from 2 down Williams likely to come straight into the team now

mattbwfc19
From being 2-0 down against a team who has lost once since mid November and get a point is fantastic, and will hopefully be a great confidence booster for us to go all the way to the end of the season. We showed great mentality after conceding a second, and we should’ve won it. They weren’t great. jerome was effective when he came on, good hold up play to set up that bod chance, and did well to win the penalty. Onto the Exeter COYW
Walkden White
The difference today for Jerome when he came on is that we actually put balls into areas where he could make an impact. At times I feel for all our strikers because we rarely play to any of their strengths.
