Bollocks

Good team, well organised. Outdid us in the stands as well. They will be pushing for/if not consolidating the playoffs IMO, with a January signings boost.

Stockport are also looking good.

Didn't get bullied today, but a lot of similarities to last season. We're easy to play against at times.

On to the next one.

Outdid us in the stands?

For the amount they brought it was like a mortuary, day trippers

11 shots, 8 on target but felt like we didn't have much going on up top

We don't really have any attacking patterns of play

It feels like Collins and McAtee both have free roles and it's all a bit disjointed

Arguably had the better of the game but just lacked a bit of a killer touch. Not convinced the changes were for the better, either. Went from having three strikers on the field to having Vic isolated on his own.

Thought JDC was superb first half in nullifying McLean’s threat, but it’s beyond me why we didn’t target that side much more often going forward.

Glad to get the Hollywood sideshow out of the way, at least.

A team with Collins mcatee and Charles shouldn't be getting barely any shots on goal. They front three is the best in the league.

Based on?

Fair result as they were a solid well balanced team. Johnstone was superb today. Substitutes annoyingly made 15 mins too late as always when we had been overrun in midfield for at least ten minutes. Not enough service for Collins and Charles. They will be in the top six this season and you can't afford to lose to those teams, so overall a point is ok but slightly disappointing at home.

Not today they weren't.

What service did they get though? No pojnt keep going wide when we can’t even get a decent cross in. Our final delivery is just awful.

I'm not blaming them per se just stating that if your gonna play 3 up you need need to be justifying not having the extra midfielder, which we didn't do today. It's not the worst point but we need to figure out how to play against teams that play 5 across the back and sit deep because that was a piece of piss for them

Thought it was just a good game of footy me.

No way we could last with the intensity of the first half. They couldn't live us for that first half hour. Grab a goal there and we win 4-0.

They were always going to come back in to it and in all honestly we dealt with everything superbly. Santos was collosus. Johnstone brilliant but clearly ran out of steam.

Dion needs to score that one on one, we should've had 2 penalties and we had one cleared off the line.

There's a lot of good to take from today.

It was a shit game. One team sat back all game playing for a point and the other team couldn't create fuck all. It's a really low bar if that's a good game of football. Tedious as fuck.

Thought we did okay ish, a lot of stuff to work on, getting front three to click especially, but we've some good players in that team.

Anyway I go to my WhatsApp and see my mate saying he's boycotting until Evatt's gone. Welcome back football

Thought we were the better side, just, but didn't do enough to win it.  Still too much 'safety first' football for me though. Free kick or throw in deep into their half, we go sideways then back to Baxter. We must be a dream to play against at times.

It's division 3 pal.

It's not been any different since we've been here.

It was a good battle for me.

Genuinely think people forget there's an opposition on the pitch there to do a job.

We lose that 1-0 last season.

The division is irrelevant.

It's no different is my point.

This is the same shit as last season.

It's so easy to defend deep and take the point.

That was a shit game of football with barely any shots on target. Both keepers had fuck all to do all game.

Base it on all three getting a full game I'd agree, but based on 70 odd minutes today I'd shake my head.

I thought they looked great in the first half.

Wrexham clearly countered that by sitting deeper after the break.

McAtee ran out of legs.

The ball just needs to get put through the middle quicker. We split their defence 2-3 times, that's where Charles thrives.

This going wide business and underlapping just doesn't work for me, especially with a 3 up top.
