Their crowd was flat as a pancake because they are poor to watch. He's doing a very average job this season with the resources he has (eg Clarke-Harris and Hugill on the bench) - beating us comprehensively at home doesn't even mean getting your team to play to their strengths, its not working against many other teams. Spot on. It's not like Rotherham are great or they're being coached by an expert, they're having a bad season. But any semi decent physical side has a field day against us. Quote

Since as far as I know they’re not traded on any market I have no idea of the value but I wouldn’t expect it to be an issue. There WILL be a clause which gives him the opportunity to cash in after a time (usually 5 years) or if she leaves he'll get am option at that time Obviously their value relates to the price on the day. Nothing about them ties him to the club unless sacked on Gross Misconduct or if he resigns without terms. Quote

Farnywhite Posted January 11, 2025 Posted January 11, 2025 Shares in a football club would only be problem if he gets a job managing another club I would have thought . Unless he as some golden share that vetos any board decision to sack him that means we’re stuck with him till Man City come calling Quote

Leyther_Matt Posted January 11, 2025 Posted January 11, 2025 Just put in my Delay Repay, with the train delays meaning we missed the first 10 minutes (dare say with a few others on here). Should probably thank them so that I only had to witness 80 minutes of shite instead of 90. The team is just absolutely broken, and by extension the club is as well. Was a very tough watch with so many players either not interested, not up to it or a cunning combination of the two. We all know how an Evans team is going to line up, yet despite umpteen games against him, Evatt still can’t work out how to counter it. The kids half-time game and second half musical chairs were the genuine high points of the day. I really chose a shit day to have a break from the ale. Quote

London Wanderer Posted January 11, 2025 Posted January 11, 2025 We make these teams look so good. Look where Wigan are since they dominated us. Will be the same with Rotherham in a month or so. It’ inexcusable Evatt going on about the players…He’s had year upon year to build the right mentality. That argument only works if you’re in a relatively new position. Quote

It's all just gone stale as fuck and the blokes ran out of ideas on how to fix it. Nobody can legislate for individual errors though. Golden chances, stupid defensive mistakes or shit misplaced passes. Chuck all that on a wank stupid system and flawed possession based philosophy and it's all a complete disaster. Summed up in four phrases. These players haven't gone shite, they've had everything coached out of them. Every one of them has been MotM one week and not fit to kick a ball the next.
