Alternatively, that's why we grabbed those draws from losing positions. Main issue is missing so many of those chances, so that we're relying on those late goals. Quote

The only times we've taken the lead and failed to win were Reading home (which was definitely 2 points dropped, deserved to win easily), and Luton where a draw with 10 men was fair enough. All our other draws have either been positive (come from behind) or just where we didn't deserve to score (three 0-0s). If we've had too many draws, its just because we haven't been good enough, we've only been unlucky in one. Quote

If your losing around the 80th minute most teams would take a draw and we managed that, not saying it was a point gained by any stretch but it was all we deserved in the end. Lost at Wycombe, was just discussing too many draws. Quote

Wanderlust Posted March 6 Author Posted March 6 If folk are getting ahead of themselves and still talking about automatic promotion- which would basically require us to beat most of the top teams in the toughest run in of any side - they must surely expect us to win this game comfortably. I hope for that to happen but I sure as hell don’t expect it. We have to perform at our best every time and so far we haven’t shown that level of consistency. As SS himself says, one game at a time, one performance at a time - and we’ll see where it takes us. Quote
