Maybe its just me but winters seem to be less cold, more wind and rain but longer lasting.

That said, Sunday afternoon was bloody nice in the sun.

That's what I would prefer, less cloudy days and more sunny and rainy days, dreary cloudy days are poo.

I had to stash it under a tree trunk in The Brooklyn woods, then one day it was gone, I suspect a so-called mate nabbed it.

Mudblood? I'm two generations from a bone fide decorated soldier in the Waffen SS (combat role). And Anglo Saxons are from Denmark - hence The Danelaw, no fucker lived in Bolton then.

Saw a bit of drama last year involving a queen wasp. There was a mob of invading wasps hovering round a nest in someones gutter. Normally the dudes on the inside can fight em off but not that day. 

They got in, had a big ruck and the next thing the queen comes flying out the size of a golf ball and fucks off with the invaders.

Not sure what happened to the poor cunts left behind.

I've heard of hornets having a do at bees' nest, but not wasp on wasp action.

Get queen wasps in occasionally in winter- hibernating on fire wood and wake up in the warmth.

They do look fearsome. 

Pint glass and extra thick card board so they can't sting me through it!

Feel a bit mean chucking them back out into the frost, but they're not staying in!

Spring innt - always the same. I've had snow on my birthday, and been swimming one occassions down here - never held with the comes in like a lion, ends like a lamb. Can be bloody freezing.

Today started off very cold, then about 4 sun came out and was lovely.
