Juan.Kerr Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 oh aye whoever comes in has the massive job of losing the high earners so i'm not for turning The alternative is getting a right bastard in, who can get the high earners actually earning. Quote
onlyoneawalker Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 (edited) Just seen an advert on tele for TSB bank so fuck it why not wish for Bruce he could show a few of them what stand up and be counted really means and we'd know bloody quickly who these mythical scarred shit houses were because they'd be painting fucking fences within a week - nostalgic rosy specs maybe but we'd get our club back Edited February 12, 2014 by onlyoneawalker Quote
Spider Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 The last former Wanderer everyone on here clamoured for was Coyle Be careful what you wish for. Rioch has been coaching Falmouth Town for 6 years. Quote
pato Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 get Souness in for an interview then give him a bill for them tea cups he broke Quote

zaza_zaza Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Pointless thread, he ain't going anywhere. He'll go alright, it's just a matter of how long the board can hold on before it gets to the time that future revenue is going to be affected more by having him here than not having him here. We must be very near to that point now. Quote
snowball Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 No Warnock and no ex Wanderers please none good enough that would be available anyway. Rather stick with Dougie than get Warnock FFS Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 (edited) 3 posts in and Souness gets a mention without any uproar A few shouts for flitcroft from Chorley It's a sad state of affairs but I'm in for anything, jimmy Phillips, jimmy wag, you name it!! I'd even consider wee jimmy krankie if he was not Scottish. Edited February 12, 2014 by Mounts Kipper Quote
snowball Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Who can a skint bottom of table championship team attract? Back to days of Stan Anderson & George Mulhall Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Doesnt matter who we bring in I think it matters can't see why a better manager can't get better results, lets face it the list of piss poor decisions is so large it's embarrassing the poor lad does not know his arse from his elbow despite what some people think on here. little whitt Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 I'd even consider wee jimmy krankie if he was not Scottish. i dont want it Quote
jonnycooper Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Phil brown and SKD as coach/no2...Don't think this would work eh! I have others. Quote
embankment Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 This more than likely is a pointless thread. Even if we lose on Saturday Dougie is NOT getting sacked.! If he was going he would have been weeks ago. The board are just hoping we scrape enough points to stay up.Then get shut of the deadwood at the club in the summer. Its a dangerous game they are playing but its the only one we can afford. Quote
anewman Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Well if the board fail to act then. The fans need to stay away in disgust so that the wankers get the message. Once and for all Quote
embankment Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Already fans are not going but they are season ticket holders so the attendance figures do NOT reflect this. The crunch will come when they don't renew next season. Quote
gonzo Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 Who are these Dead wood that people keep mentioning? David Wheater who was given a new deal? It Zat knight who was made club captain? Quote
bolty58 Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Can't see any changes as I can't see them wanting to pay out Dougie and his henchmen. Hypothetically though, if it were to happen, I'd want a ruthless headkicker not another 'players mate'. As McCarthy seems well ensconced in tractor country, Alex McLeish would probably fit the bill - even Warnock. Neither would take any fucking about by overpaid ponces. Quote

I'm sorry but both awful suggestions. I don't think Dougie takes shit off the players either. Probably one area that isn't an issue. Quote
snowball Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Why is McLeish so detested? Much prefer him to pillocks like Warnock. Don't think Dougie is going anywhere but I wouldn't mind Big Eck, won a trophy at Birmingham and was unlucky at villa in that he was on a hiding to nothing all along. Be better than what we've got Quote
birch-chorley Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Can we now class freedman in the "overpaid dead wood that we can't get rid of" camp? Quote

You should be sorry. McLeish would be a good appointment for us IMO. The players don't respect the management team - that is clearly obvious. You wouldn't get away with that with McLeish, Warnock or McCarthy. You'd be up the fucking road. Quote

Honestly thinks that's half the problem mate. Not the same getting bollocked and shouted at by a 39 year old bloke that's still wet behind the ears. He's telling players off that have played at a higher level than he ever did and probably think they know more about the game than him. It would be ok If he was a tactical genius. But he's not. Quote

Mears, Sordell, Pratley, Andrews, Eagles, Ream, Knight, Moritz (if Mavies stays ).Chungy will probably go if we're offered the reported £3m. Mills has earned a reprieve if he's on sensible wages.
