And as soon as there’s a longer period of shitness all the other blips previously get lumbered in to provide “evidence” that “he has to go”. We had a poll on here in January to get rid of Schumacher. In this crazy world he’s one poor result away from being questioned and lambasted again. Fortunately it looks like our owners value longevity, relationship-building and sustainability above the irrational short-term ism that exists elsewhere in the game. That said, they’ve made mistakes (they showed too much faith, loyalty, belief and time in Evatt), but I think they’ll learn from that. Quote

The bigger failing was keeping him too long into the season when it was obvious his head had fell off. Quote

I still feel her being made to do that hurt her more than we appreciate. Ignoring any scurrilous implications she clearly got too close to the guy & supported him through any number of issues. That's a good person, but sometimes even good people have to do difficult things and good people can make mistakes. Quote
