Mounts Kipper Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 We have won in 6 league games in 2015 Why is this glorious manager of ours immune from criticism Gary Rowett took over Birmingham a week after Lennon took over Bolton. He's had nothing to spend and their owner is banged up in Hong Kong. Last time I looked they are 2nd! Neil Lennon did very well for Celtic, he a better job than Ronny Deila did. But looking at it. We are a million miles away from anyone else in this league except Rotherham Deep deep trouble COYWM. Please sort it out We're 6 points from 14th and 3 wins from 11th, nothing in this league, yes we need a back to back win or 2 but we're not yet a million miles from teams, granted we need more of a forward threat but if we get one we will be safe. Then we can start worrying about next season. Quote

gonzo Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Jimmy Wagg reckoned GMR have made numerous approaches to PG for an interview. Out of context that was an ok result yesterday. But the place stinks of relegation. We need some inspiration from somewhere pretty quick. Quote

Only wins will lift the gloom, I sense a bit more solidity in the team, injuries to key players is also a concern we need to keep our better players fit and we need Clough back ASAP. Quote
gonzo Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 A last minute away win at Preston in front of 5k travelling fans and everyone steaming on the pitch like hull 93 will help with the gloom Quote
tomski Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 I just can't see us beating a couple of teams to get them couple of wins. Oh and applause to the 12 year old kid with braces in the wsl who seemed to be able to wind 4k Leeds fans up anytime he wanted haha Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 A last minute away win at Preston in front of 5k travelling fans and everyone steaming on the pitch like hull 93 will help with the gloom Something like that is needed a catalyst to get a forward momentum, loads and loads of lapsed Bolton fans are out there they need a sign that the club/team is going in the right direction and that were not a lost cause, theres young uns like my lad whos 11 in December he has not seen one decent season but hes White through and through despite other side of the family trying to make him a Red, not arsed for myself I have seen great days its the young uns I badly want a succesful BWFC for. DaisyHillyBilly Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Why did Lennon change the system at half time?! We looked solid and were dominating the game. He should have brought Clayton on when we lost Davies and left it the same. He seemed to push Feeny up front with Amiobi off him! He was trying to use Feenys pace on the break. It was a mistake. We were better than them. We were too narrow and lost the ball in midfield. We need a five man midfield. He tinkered when its was working. Freedman would have got shite for doing the same. Don't get me wrong I think he's the right man however he's cost us points in our last two games. Quote

And there's enough of that which was far from perfect Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Is there any highlights of the game available yet? Quote

Ani Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Ameobi looked a lot better than either Madine or Heskey. Big worry is Lennon noting that they had changed things round at half time, but we did not react. Seemed obvious to drop Feeney back into midfield play 5 in there and nullify the threat. Biggest moan and this will sound petty....but.... I took 4 juniors to the game yesterday, the 2 girls wanted hotdogs before the game, so I left the pub early (commitment!). However at 2.45 there were no hot dogs, because they were warming up, tried again just before kick off to be told would be ready in 5-10 minutes. We do not have a pot to piss in but with customers stood there trying to give them money you would think some could predict the food and beer bits would manage to be ready in time for kick off. Pissing customers off is no way to run a business. Quote

Pissing customers off is no way to run a business. Ani the whole experience is shit My Dad hasn't been able to get a steak pie at half time all season and that's being at the front of the queue They've not once had bottles of water, so why advertise these things? Decided to try there official car park yesterday. For £7 we got the privilege of having cones put in front of us so we couldn't go until all the empty buses had. 5:30pm we left the car park. So why pay more to be made to wait later than anywhere else FFS? And all that is with less than 15k on I can't even look at full time scores as Dad goes for his post match piss as all the TV's are off. Very trivial but another minor thing to piss me off. The whole experience is fucking turgid and Mr Gartside and co are driving people away for numerous reasons. They are getting so much so fucking wrong for the fan/customer, it's no wonder the business is fucked. And that's not including the football Again to echo you, it sounds pathetic, but it's just fucking shit. You take the crap "services" if it feels like home and it's "our crap" like at Burnden, but it just doesn't. If I didn't have a ST if not bother again at home this season, it's just so, so depressing. And I've only bothered with that because I want to spend time with my Dad. Nearly did LOV this year to treat my Dad but wasn't impressed back end of last season when we tried it and here wasn't a single follow on call/email from the club, asking why; getting feedback; trying anything.... They've have sucked away so much enthusiasm for going to the match from BWFC folk because they just aren't interested in the body of support Wankers Quote
Horwich Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 I tried to book hospitality online for yesterdays game... Website doesnt work and has last years games on Quote
Carlos Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 I've just checked my phone, got to car (on street) at 17.12 as I went for a piss, and that's half way across H-Town. Took 21 minutes to get back. I don't blame Garty for the clown sat behind us slagging everyone off or the dickhead with him announcing shit like "Scunthorpe have equalised!", no one gives a fuck, pipe down you cunt. Quote

The last time I went to the Macron was a wedding which was a brilliant event (18 months ago); since we moved there they have never got the football experience right. I asked if they had been taken by surprise when people turned up at that time on a Saturday. The most annoying bit was being asked at just before three if I could wait 5 minutes for them to be heated up. Incompetent. Quote

The food and beer kiosks are a shambles Not sure who has the contract these days but they are piss poor Every week it's someone else doing it for the first time and they don't have a clue. It puts folk off and is a false economy Pay better and get better staff in who regularly work and get to grips with it It's light years behind some of the pie and mash old dears in non league (granted its much easier on a smaller scale) Quote
