They’re circling around him now. First Musk now GOP members are referring to his tariffs as “Taco Tariffs” Trump Always Chickens Out. 

They’ve had their stock raid and now they want someone who’s going to raise the stock market and make them a killing. 

Some small-ish Auto Spares dealer is taking him to court as he’s all but ended their business and cost people their livelihoods and it’s gaining popularity with 12 senators suing him now too for demand to their states

Also, a bit like Brexit, all this was predicted way before it happened because it was so glaringly obvious they weren't going to be able to be a cohesive working partnership.

Elon's tanked his stock (wonder if he is having second thoughts about jumping round like a child and calling himself Dark Gothic MAGA) and all the financial mismanagement that Trump actually said he would do has - amazingly - happened.

They've not always agreed, and Musk has been critical in the past. It was obvious that it wouldnt be a long term involvement, and he was brought in to do one thing.

Seems to have ruffled feathers earlier than expected perhaps, but it was always going to happen.
