Just finished series 4 of Yellowstone - decent.

Kelly Reilly is fuckin gorgeous! Especially what she wears in the last episode...

My mate has been on at me for ages to watch that, now after 3 episodes of 1883 he’s saying that’s better

With you brother. Anyone ever read Brian Cloughs autobiography and his comments on the subject having been there and experienced it?

Terrible for the families - no arguments there. Apportioning blame however - totally unbalanced. The problem was caused by pissed up and ticketless fans jibbing in. They can point fingers at others as much as they like; the real instigators of the tragedy remain unpunished and I wonder if they can truly sleep at night?

They will never take ownership of the 39 and the same applies for the 96.

Their lack of responsibility for Heysel is unbelievable, buts for another thread and another time 😁

Hadn't heard of 1883. Just had a google, it's the same writer that did Yellowstone, Tyler Sheridan. I'll plan it in.

Give Yellowstone a go, it's worth it 👍

Edit: after more googling realised it's a prequel to Yellowstone 👀

I’m sick of watching low rate shows filled with hype and B class actors, so I treated myself and bought Sopranos on Blu-ray to watch for the 3rd time. Then I got told about Yellowstone and 1883, oh and Boba fett show has started. (Yes Star Wars geek)

So should be good for a bit now until ozark and better call Saul come back

Got a whole lot stacked up on Netflix that will take me forever to get through but will all get paused when Ozark returns

Binged through The Stranger last couple of days, must have passed me by when it first came out. Enjoyed it, if a slightly disappointing ending. I did notice that almost everyone's house/apartment in it was incredible, some great sets.

Always funny seeing people run down a street in Bolton then next scene they're in Bury!

I'll leave the blame game alone. It's another source of entrenchment that's not good. I have my views courtesy of my best mate who was there, albeit up in the corner in that section between Leppings Lane and the cantilever stand.

Me and a lad from Uni were in that section too.
I've always kept my thoughts about the day to myself, but wished I'd gone to Fulham instead.

24 hours in police custody tonight, another fucking baby murderer.

Watched both episodes last night.  Grim, upsetting, yet compulsive viewing.

What an utter c*nt the bloke was.  I hope he suffers every day of his wretched life.  The mum was a prime example of a DV victim who's been beaten down for so long, she could no longer see it.  It took her little girl to make a statement about how violent things were in the household.

I did like the 'mike-drop' Police interview, where they basically said "you weren't the dad anyway" then left the room.

Watching it now. Shows what a fucking nightmare Social Services have to deal with. "He dint do noffin!" What are they supposed to do? Take the kids away from them and they're fucking "interfering busy-body do-gooders", let it go and "they're useless cunts who should have saw the signs and intervened earlier". Massive respect to anyone who does that sort of job.

Feel a bit uncomfortable watching it to be honest. It's basically The Jeremy Kyle Show but a lot darker and with more uniforms.

Just binged Landscapers. I can't say as I've ever seen anything quite like that, really enjoyed it but takes some getting used to when the fourth wall is broken. The so very nearly Vicky McClure in Line Of Duty character took some getting used to as well 🤣

Wasn't expecting so many of then scenes to have been filmed so close to home, see most of those places daily!

Just watched the BBC documentary Hillsborough again. I must admit I was one of those who blamed pissed up ticketless fans jibbing in however I don’t think I could be further from the truth. It’s shocking the lengths the police went to in their cover up. A hard hitting watch and I’ll admit I did swallow a few maltesers whilst watching it. Well worth a watch

When bollocks like this is repeated, despite it being proven several years and enquiries ago, that that's what it is, bollocks, then one can see the need for further TV dramas.

Bollocks. This is why you are called Duck Egg and I'm not.

Stay Close on Netflix. It was ridiculous and convoluted with 52 too many sub-plots. But i must have been somewhat entertained as i watched it all in one sit in 🤷‍♂️

Was a bit far fetched at points. Liked it overall and thought the ending was quite good but too many unnecessary subplots as you say, the weird killer couple undermined the rest of it for me, they were like a parody.

Not a cricket fan (thank fuck at present!) but 'The Man Who Bought Cricket' documentary is an excellent watch.

I honestly do not remember this happening and when Flintoff was playing I was really into cricket almost as much as football, but I’m looking forward to watching it

I visited the cricket ground he built in Antigua right by the airport. He owned so much of the island that they really struggled after his arrest.

aye, I was of that mindset also for years

anyone still blaming the scousers haven't bothered looking at the evidence or, to make it easier, watched the documentary, and, ironically, just want to blame someone else because it suits them
