As always videos can flatter to decisive, but the lad looks mobile and reasonably comfortable with the ball. Feisty fucker too. The fact a few clubs were sniffing around can only bode well. Eddie Posted August 23, 2018 Share Posted August 23, 2018 We were far too reliant on 2 centre mids last year, this lad now means we have 4 options for those 2 positions (5 if you include Vela) - should help keep the team fresh and mean we can switch things round depending on form/fitness and opposition. To be fair the same can be said for every position with 2 good options for each. It makes a massive difference to last season where we basically had nothing past the starting 11. If O'Neil is on a short term deal then maybe he's one for later. One good thing about that video was him winning the ball back early, further up the pitch.
