Lots of fun though. They are surprisingly hard work. Having to control the thing and then moving your sections about... By the time I've got chainsaw pants, gloves, helmet etc on, end up sweating profusely. Using a splitting axe, and sometimes wood grenades, really gets the heart pumping. Wife used to get HSE reports when she managed a tree team- she never wanted me to have one! Reports of people taking their arms off, and one mon through his neck. Not good. Couple of runs a week, no drink for a few weeks and lost a few pounds. 6 ft 2 and want to get back to 13, half a stone to go.... Oh and could cous is lovely, cooked in loads of wine and butter.
