Her folks have just got a place in Torrevieja, whilst mine have one in Corralejo.

Spoiled for choice this summer. Thinking three weeks which is a long time for me but we've got two under 5s to keep busy so am wondering if anyone else has done a longer holiday like that with kids

Used to go to Butlins there as a child, that or Barry Island, it was great back then, boats with paddles that you turned clockwise

If you'd used both paddles you would have gone straight ahead. HTH..

I'm sat having a meal in Budapest. I turned up late I'll admit - 10pm but they said no problem. Anyway I've had my starter and main course and come to order my apple strudel - and the bastards have shut the kitchen.

Surely this is illegal under some EU law?

I didn't even really want apple strudel - now all I can think about is apple strudel!

Now now Clark Kent, I think you've had too many holidays sherberts haha....

For apple Strudel whilst in Pest, you need to try the Senzovaza Sturdel Parlour...open until 3am...........enjoy my friend.

We were in Kutna Hora (Czech Republic) in early January and we passed a cafe that said 'the best apple strudel in CZ'

It wasn't but it enticed us in.

Asda do a fine apple strudel. I love apple strudel.

Incidentally - are you currently framing a poster a bloke bought in from Budapest? If so - I am that bloke! :-)

Either way I'll check out the Asda strudel!

I'm glad that me and my sisters rodent cage problems didn't put you off and as a WW regular you get a complimentary 20% discount.

Thanks again for all your hard work. It looks fantastic and will have pride of place in our front room.

If anybody needs any work like this doing I can heartily recommend Anthony Cornwell framing on Ivy Rd. Grand job - thank you - and a pleasure to meet you Boby!

The restriction is still in place it is just the advertising of the rentals that airbnb are challenging as unlawful. You could be fine but it is a risk as any apartment you may book is illegal in NYC.

anyone know anymore on this

going in May

booked a place in Brooklyn on AirBNB for 5 nights

there are shitloads of places on there so folk must be getting away with it, or it's business as usual

just got it in my head now it may go tits up

so might be worth booking a back up hotel, but one where I could cancel say like the day before or on the day or something, if you can even do that without getting stung

benidorm in may for 3 days on the piss

and a week in vegas at the end of august

resort tax, didn't have to pay that last time i went, what a joke

The Vegas resort tax is well annoying, we didn't even realise we had to pay it until we checked out last time. I refused to pay it, so they called the police  :|

So I had to pay it, it was written in the smallest of small print on my booking confirmation. I'd never paid it on my previous 3 visits
