Drove and happened to listen to Radio Shropshire for a bit on the way back, someone txtd in and said something like "if we had taken 1500 to an away game at least we'd have been heard". Can only presume his hearing aid battery had gone.

The day was superb parked on that pub near the dug up roundabout and had a couple of pints in the beer garden. Was going to have another after the game but they wouldn't let us in and some of their lot were getting a bit brave stood behind the police, fucking knobs,, anyway just been for a curry in Darwen to finish off the day. They only get 1500 for a home game and silent at that. Could have given us miles more tickets. Welsh tossers

Top day, superb atmosphere. A day spent with people I havnt seen for years & one or two I'd forgot even existed! Up or down, good or bad, I know there isn't a team anywhere that has as many colourful characters as BWFC following them & I feel honoured to be able to share days like today with so many loveable notrights.

Great result and suspected this would be a top day out.

Chuffed for all of you who made the trip and generally chuffed with everything at the moment.

Good result for Millwall on Tuesday and we despatch the Spireites at the weekend and that Yorkshire halfwit will need dysentery slacks.

Walking down from town at 2.10 and bumped in to a bloke coming out of his house going to the game so led the 3 of us, 3 others and about 10 Bolton yoof to the game via the riverside route and across a golf course. Took the same route back via the Prince of Wales and the locals were spot on. The 19:52 was very much the notright express but a good time had by all. We're going up with a pot in the cabinet, no doubt at all. COYWM

Great day out in the sun and the result we wanted

Why the fuck hey didn't stick a train station by that ground I'll never know.

There was hardly any football played by either team but it's definitely a going up result. Neither team did much and I don't remember 4 passes strung together really. We have slowly gone long ball as a first reaction - it may be down to the pressure and the time of season but if we are to keep wining we will need a Madine type up there as there's no point to ALF and Long. Long looks great on their defender's shoulders playing the way he's facing but back to goal doesn't seem his style

I actually thought Dervite was the pick of our players. He's seemed better with 3 at the back. Taylor didn't look too clever when he hobbled over at the end so not sure on his injury.

Bus back into the town and train home was brilliant; loads of proper old Bolton boys and the old songs on the platform pre the 6:50 train were ace

We are up ????????

I'm going watching Legia Warsaw at home next week, we'll be ok won't we????? ????????

There was a polish player he played upon the wing and every time he got the ball the Burnden used to sing it's cool Novack, cool Novack. We Signed him from Legia about 1978 he wasn't that cool either.????

What were you lot up to frightening ball boys?

Would just like to say a massive well done to the ball boys today, calm and as cool as you'd like when everything all kicked off in the away end. However a special mention must go to the young lad who looks after them. Was seen sprinting down the west stand to make sure the boys in the away end were okay. Clearly passionate and loves his job another one STFC need to keep hold of. Hope both young boys are okay and not too shaken up. Let's hope the one sat in front of the flare didn't take any damage! Thank you ball boys!
