About 10yrs ago the stretch through Queens park was the cleanest it had been since records began. Part of the plans for the development at bank street way back before the recession was to re-green the area around the river after it leaves the tunnel under the town centre. Was suprised to see any trout in there nevermind the amount i did. Few shoals of silver fish too.
