Sinister slags

Heard the term ‘evil bitch’ mentioned  many times on here. I suppose it depends on what party you follow that determines the offensiveness of it. Hypocrisy, whataboutery, whatever.

Another woman in power triggering the gammon.

hmmm

Can you imagine if Sturgeon had done a tenth of the shit Boris has got up to?

She’d be a slag as well as an ‘obnoxious twat’. Yet he’s a top shagger who a select few of posters on here continue to spunk over daily.

12 years they’ve had to make our rivers clean.

We’re going backwards under this lot. It’s just that simple, fucking awful:

Wait until they unravel a few more environmental protections when they repeal all the EU laws.

So she might get a plum job and her fella gets off?  Sounds great for those that can and sounds dodgy as fuck, do you have any links to the rumours?

What about down here where pub landlords and 2 week old companies get £200m contracts to supply shite PPE they never had a hope of supplying?  Yes I know, whataboutary but it stinks.

Don't get me wrong, this should be thoroughly investigated and if guilty then face the consequences.

Telegraph,

Independent,

(Sottish)Daily Express.

All in the last few days.

Scottish water is publicly owned and whilst things aren’t great, 67% of rivers are in good health. Yet the SNP only ever talk about independence so not sure how they found the time to do this….🤔

Left wing propaganda masquerading as analysis of UK economy lagging behind rest of the world.

If you ignore 99% of the article, you can quote the following in isolation and out of context:

While the economy has slowed since the financial crisis in 2008, the roots of the problems go back much further, she argues, with investment in decline since the 1990s.”

Result: it’s Labour’s fault. Phew… 😃

Unfortunately Grenpeace like Surfers against Sewage talk total bollocks to whip up the public via press,

30 years ago most sewage treatment systems were a 20mm hand rake screen which would blind up and overtop to storm discharge to river followed by a big tank to let your turds sink and be pumped to a drying bed before being sold to local farmer to spread over crops and maybe a stone filter after if you were lucky .

Now there are.automated systems with instrumentation all over turning most effluent into something with less impurities than your average real ale and UV disinfection on most going to a bathing water or shellfish outfall

they are getting uppity about storm Water discharge but unless you want to separate sewage from drainage being biggest infrastructure investment ever starting with every roof down pipe in the land forget it,

Concentrate on educating public on wet wipes and pouring fat down your drain if they want to make a difference

PS the profits creamed off by water companies are disgusting but Maggie sold them off and level of investment put in each five year spend cycle will demand big rewards else money would just go elsewhere

The EU have been responsible for driving standards higher though integrated pollution control legislation in that time period rather than the government.

This stringent directives helped achieve really good water quality in the UK as industrial premises could be prosecuted or closed down if discharge was below a certain quality.

IMO Greenpeace and other pressure groups are entitled to criticise this government who are allowing standards to slide.

They really aren’t though.

Combined sewer overflows have always been there , it’s only been in last five years that the telemetry systems have been installed at great expense to measure their occurrence.

Surfers against sewage badge the information as their work but is a direct map off SWW beachlive. The bellend who started them bullied SWW to do the Clean Sweep project at his beloved St Agnes used by 100’s at most before Padstow including Harlyn, Trevone, Polzeath and Port Isaac used by 10,000’s.

The recent “sewage” spill at St Agnes all other media was blamed on SWW when being bright brown was obviously mud run off from a field, which was proven to be but surprisingly not reported

Bit short on facts, long on bias.

I’m sure mistakes are made but they are there to keep governments on their toes and do a vital job keeping these issues in the public consciousness. For every example like the St Agnes  sewage spill there will be many other valid ones which need to be challenged. Well done to them.
