Just do what Russ B has done. Gone to India and done the Mumbai marathon

Delhi Marathon is week before I go there in March. Might have entertained it!

Having been to India I can only envisage a marathon on roads with massive pot holes everywhere, folk zipping round on motorbikes zig zaging in between runners, and cows that just stand there in the way

He's absolute bonkers

He did an ultra out there a few years back. Not  right is he. Doing well for  a 56 year old grandad though

Psoas muscle convert here too.

Had abdominal pain from a sprint workout sustained in August.

Pain wasn't going away. Saw GP, had ultrasound in October. Hernia ruled out.

Carried on resting, told to use Voltaren!

Every time I ran same soreness.

Anyway saw Gonzos post, researched some stretches. Carried out before and after runs, world of difference.

Tried a zone 2 run yesterday. Ran much slower than normal - flat roads, no elevation. Heart rate needed to be between 108-126. Averaged 138 over the 13+ miles.
I would have to walk I think to get into zone 2.
Will try again soon.

Still not really put any effort in and not changed the drinking habits

I fear at 210 its going to need exercise but i feel 14 stone is achievable

6k this morning and just done the gym.

Still don't get/enjoy weights but helps with the running it seems. Tried one of those skiing machines tonight - could quite get into that.

Weights burn calories while you sleep.

Running doesnt.
