Zico Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 Having been to India I can only envisage a marathon on roads with massive pot holes everywhere, folk zipping round on motorbikes zig zaging in between runners, and cows that just stand there in the way Quote

jayjayoghani Posted January 22, 2024 Posted January 22, 2024 Psoas muscle convert here too. Had abdominal pain from a sprint workout sustained in August. Pain wasn't going away. Saw GP, had ultrasound in October. Hernia ruled out. Carried on resting, told to use Voltaren! Every time I ran same soreness. Anyway saw Gonzos post, researched some stretches. Carried out before and after runs, world of difference. Quote

Smiley Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 Tried a zone 2 run yesterday. Ran much slower than normal - flat roads, no elevation. Heart rate needed to be between 108-126. Averaged 138 over the 13+ miles. I would have to walk I think to get into zone 2. Will try again soon. Quote
