You think legal representatives of people with the supposed wealth of this ‘consortium’ are that stupid?

I suppose it could happen but something doesn’t sound right.

That's what I'm saying.

Not saying the EFL have agreed anything, I think someone had said on here yesterday that Bassini had failed FFP as he didn't deposit the 2 million requested

Proof of funds isn't part of the owners and directors test - as far as I know.

Match off saturday as it stands

Off or played behind closed doors? The Sky sports ticker just saying fans are prevented from entering stadium.

I'm so annoyed by the idea that a legal assistant getting the address wrong on something of this magnitude.

Surely it's not down to a paralegal to proof read things like this and make sure that the address is right.  It would have to be checked and re-checked by higher up figures.

Sure it's one of the basics of the deal but that should be the first thing to get right. In that CERBURUS document it even says: "The parties hereby agree that legal proceedings may be served on them by delivering a copy of such proceedings to them, at their respective address SET OUT IN THIS AGREEMENT."

...as people have said, it should've been watertight and if it has been cocked up due to this tiny technicality it shows gross incompetence on the legal side for Howard's bidders, doesn't it?

The address is supposed to be right there in that very document so how can they so royally fuck that up?

and to make it worse, KA even told us where he lived in a recent update

I’ve been in meetings all day

can someone provide an update, it’s booting off all over the shop it seems

Ken's appeal that he didn't get the 14 day notice upheld - so Dark Horse can't complete tonight as expected.

Ken's done a newsletter saying he's agreed a sale (presumably with Team Bassini).

Wages can't be paid until tomorrow because of legal restrictions still in place over the clubs accounts.

EFL saying no Health and Safety Certificate in place for next two home games so games can only take place behind closed doors at this stage.

Haven’t posted on WW for a long time, but been a member since 2003.... mainly lurking in the background with the occasional appearance (including a few beers with Casino & others in Munich, who may or may not remember...).

A few posters mentioned divorce earlier in the thread and having been through that over the last few years, this situation with my beloved club feels a lot like the heartache I went through during my separation. These cunts that are responsible for this seemingly have no fucking idea or a complete lack of interest as to what BWFC means to the fans and employees of the club and the wider local community as a whole.

If the relevant interested parties do indeed read this forum... search for just a hint of compassion, do the right thing, take a few quid with you if needs be, but just walk away and leave those of us with a genuine place in our hearts for BWFC to move on with our proud club.
