I love it when they get the real experts on the news. They're about the only people on telly who aren't afraid to say 'we don't know' or 'we don't have sufficient evidence to tell you one way or the other'.

I guess that's why they're in scientific professions and not politics.

The ability to flip a question and quickly talk about something else is different talent entirely.

Watching whitty yesterday having to negotiate around the odd politically leading question was testament to his ability, openness and calmness in not getting drawn in.

Unfortunate too, when they're discussing what's to be learned.

One thing I didn't know, is that they assumed the virus would behave like SARS and people would only be infectious when symptomatic. Whilst they knew it was possible for it to spread pre or asymptomatic, they assumed the former.

Then got a bit of a rude awakening.

Should imagine their NOMAD is piecing together a RNS as we speak, ready to hit the market for Monday.

Would be nice if the tech transfer and MHRA approval come through early next week, the contract was dependent on the approval so can't see it being much longer now

Also their stepdad won't be able to work and has a shit sick pay scheme and relies on weekend overtime especially at Xmas. Just sent him a couple of hundred over to help in some small way but he will be going short.

Cheers, just ordered a pack of lockdown goodies as well for them all to keep them occupied and something for mum and stepdad  - beer, wine etc Hope it takes the edge off this news for them all.

was supposed to pick thm up today and spend a week with the eldest. Mind you, there are some people who haven't seen their kids for months and months so just got to look on the bright side.
