Don't take it as gospel- sure I heard it from a customer. Socially distanced outside of course.

It was. That’s why Williams is a lying bastard pretending he didn’t know until the weekend. Course he fucking did.

It wasn’t a problem with the algorithm. Like I said before it’s a societal problem.

Private schools with small class size benefitted. That’s exactly what happen with exams too. The algorithm reflected education within our society.

Fucking barmy, and gives credence to those folk who think its hoax.

Mind you, I'm swinging that way myself..... 🤔

In fairness, they locked down properly. My contacts still get tested every day on the way into work, and have to shower and change into "work clothes" once at the factory. If you're seen out after curfew, there is a very good chance you will be shot. Until recently, you were only allowed out about one hour a week to do food shopping, unless you were traveling to or from work. That's the way to do a lockdown.

Having said that, they are still getting a few cases, I know that for a fact, but I think they're still reporting zero cases

South Korea with a sudden spike.

This isn't going away quickly.

Sadly not mate, here for another couple of years yet I'd have thought, until we can get a working vaccine

Really?

Bbc breakfast did a piece from the cavern club earlier. Losing 30k a week, but they were hoping to reopen very soon with reduced capacity.

Might not happen then.

It's not even the original club. Who gives a shit

I thought that but assumed they meant if they were open they'd be taking 30k a week

I think it's safe to say that's what they mean

I'm a bit worried that any vaccine won't be the panacea people are hoping for because the longer this goes on it seems the more folk are thinking it's bollocks and the less likely they are to queue up to be vaccinated.

Add in to that people thinking that them in charge haven't got a clue what they are doing and can't be trusted and there might be an even lower uptake.

If someone did one of them poll things on here I wonder what % of WW would line up tomorrow for a jab? (taking into consideration as vile druggie thugs etc we might not be a fair representation of the general population)

How could the first one be fortnightly ?

I reckon that they'd take in more than that a week, I walk past quite often during the afternoon and in normal times it seems to attract tourists in throughout the day. Couple that with it being located on one of the busiest areas for a piss up in the evening and I reckon that takings would far exceed 30k. Perhaps they mean they're missing out on 30k profit a week?

from memory, it was announced on twitter at 9pm on a Thursday

It then took til the following Tuesday/Wednesday to become law, so initially they were winging it

The Corona Act (for want of a better term) requires measures to be reviewed regularly. I thought it was every 2 weeks

Obviously they can increase the frequency

My missus is anti-Vaxer. She said yesterday when a vaccine comes along she won’t take it. Her logic is others will do she does not need to. So I asked does that mean vaccines work ? I was apparently being awkward and missing the point.

I would take a vaccine if the virus was still prevalent.

I know your better half has medical issues so do have some sympathy

And my sister in law died at 62 having had her life fcuked up by polio

But ill be all over a vacvine as long as Hancocks not been near it. :)

I just think its the right thing to do

Passes me off when folk say I'm not having my kids vaccinated

"Don't need to cos everybody else does it anyway and obvs there's a risk"

Aye, so its OK for others to take that risk to protect yours

Fuck off you selfish twat

the first review was after two weeks

it was presumed the next one would be in a further two weeks

but then they decided to do it week by week
