RUREADY2ROLL
I would take a null and void with starting on -12 rather than being relegated all the time. With the right recruitment and manager we could easily do well next time round
RUREADY2ROLL
Octoberfest has already been cancelled so Germany are looking longer term at preventing gatherings. Spectator sport will not get going as we know it until October/ November so the best the EFL can do is cancel this season and start to plan ahead for a late start to next. Clubs can then get rid of their players and recruit at the right time for the next season; its the only way to save many football clubs

radcliffe white
Null & void simply can’t happen fans will lose interest, folk have paid season/match ticket money for nothing at least in league 2 fans will see it as a good chance of promotion rather than another big struggle
radcliffe white
Also seen a few articles about the efl getting regionalised next season to cut short the season

Marc505
Really interesting listen on the NTT20 podcast about the current situation, Matt Slater puts a good argument across for regionalisation. It also doesn't offer any reassurance that this is going to end well for a lot of clubs. https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/not-the-top-20-podcast/id1112915286?mt=
birch-chorley
Let’s wait and see what happens before making any hasty decisions For a start we don’t know what the league will look like by the time the curtain goes up, a dozen teams could go the way of Bury by then Once the EFL have clear line of sight at a proper return the call can be made, 2 straightforward options that can be voted on by all the member clubs, a fair vote, majority wins Any clubs don’t like the outcome can fuck off and join another league if the like

Roger_Dubuis
Dutch PM this evening - all public events are banned – even behind closed doors – until September 1. The Dutch football federation (KNVB) will make its own statement inevitably declaring the 2019-20 season over.

It might be the other way round. The article states that the Belgian league was cancelled, but actually they just cancelled the remainder of the season and accepted the current league standings as they are now. Anyway, UEFA can plan to resume football in June all they want, but if the respective countries' governments decided against it it's not happening. Site Supporter HomerJay Posted April 21, 2020 Author Site Supporter Share Posted April 21, 2020 All of football can say what they want about dates. It's counts for sweet FA if the government say nobody is doing shit. The media are just making shit up so they have something to talk about. And the footballing are just covering as many eventualities as possible.

deane koontz
Not even thinking of football. And won't be until there's a vaccine or a miraculous flatine.. All that behind closed doors shite is great until just the one person gets it then the snowball effect means that everything is fucked..1 player gets it he passes it on to others..now they're in isolation..and teams can't fulfil their fixtures and so on. Exercise in futility.
