its gonna be fun when other teams go in adminstration

"but muh coronavirus , no money"

"tough shit minus 12 points"

we might get promoted just by having a non negative points total.

Anyone going into admin will escape points deduction imo. It will also make FFP very difficult and I suspect a few clubs will escape punishment because of Covid.

I don’t agree with it but I think it’s what will happen

I can't see any deductions at all after this, not even for us

i would not be surprised to see a few clubs disappear as a result of this.

Always hearing how many are on the edge pretty inevitable some will go.

If that starts to happen you have to question the games integrity, I don't see the EPL giving 2 fucks about lower league teams, and the EFL don't seem tto give much of a fuck either.

id agree all being fair , but because weve been done already , even giving us the points back now doesnt seem right. everyone else got a head start , we had crazy stuff to deal with before all this, getting dicked by six goals every week for about 7 weeks.

still think we would be about 6 off safety even with the extra twelve points.

changing the rules for everyone else when they run into "unprecidented" problems.

was willing to go down with a rushed or delayed finish in the name of fairness.

but the skriking from the rest of the world , just makes me think nah scrap the season , and let the chips fall where they may wrt bankruptcies and the like.

that FV were giving people their monies back and it didnt even get us anywhere makes me kind of hope for them. "being fair"

shoes on the other foot now.

might have wasted 9 months , but i cant wait for the shitshow that might come next.

I was thinking we might get promoted just by surviving the season.  We could lose every game 6-0 but if the others go bust before the end of the season and we survive, we end up in the top 3.

wouldnt be surprised if there is a clause in the contract that says the fa/prem/FL reserve the right to cancel said season at any point.

just because its easier to do that , than figure out what to do to sort it and fight off any lawsuits when people disagree.

"youre threatening to sue us over not being promoted. But look, you signed this in july.."

Think bournemouth were moaning about playing in newcastle in a closed stadium magic weekend six games a day thing or summat just to get it done.

even suggestions are getting the big No

mad

And folk within the game are still trying to persuade us the desire to get going again is driven by a desire to maintain the integrity.

said it before will say it again. The government need to step in. How they do this I have no idea but they simply do. Restarting is going to cause more damage to the game than binning this season off

That would be lovely, unfortunately we're past the 3rd Thursday of March,or whatever the cut off is, for any point deductions for this season & the season is already officially over & I can't see 18+ teams going bust!

We can but dream though

Had a massive Barney with our Maude over me going back to work with no real guidelines.

That's the thing though, there is guidelines! From those guidelines I can't see how any football activity can happen! It's nuts for teams to even consider going back to training. Just look at what is happening in Germany

Yep Dresden won’t be the last to call off I’m sure

Yeah exactly.
Germany seem to be ignoring it though, there have been a few cases like this.

Probably

I'd not trust any of those at risk of relegation to be honest, though I guess medical certs will have to be sent to the ruling bodies

The PL warning them against it isn’t right IMO though, they should just lay out how it will work and let them have an uninfluenced vote

The vote is tomorrow and a big day on the start of conversation to what will happen throughout the leagues. I don't believe they can force teams losing home advantage so that garbage of playing on neutral grounds hopefully cannot be agreed; the law wont allow home matches due to fans congregating outside the grounds so hopefully they will have to cancel the season.
