Farage did apparently, as he came out and said that Vance was wrong.

Either way, that Vance, every time he opens his mouth it seems something a bit daft comes out of it. He's a proper odd ball

I was going to say simpletons…..I should have!

Speaking of NF he asked a good question in the commons yesterday regarding Ukraine and British troops. It goes without saying he didn’t get an answer.

Of course they do. They’re politicians

Not having that.  Not true. You can’t paint everyone with the same brush. Gives them an easy get out.

Trump,Vance, Rubio et al are a different league.  Pathological liars. Proved again and again and again

Yes you’re right, I can’t. But I can go off our politicians and previous American ones, who let’s face it, are full of shit .

I agree....but Trump and Vance seem to be taking to a whole new level, at the minute, they may calm down a bit as stuff plays out, or they may start to double down. We'll soon find out

Not true. It is what supporters of Boris, Trump and other narcissists say to excuse their heroes.

I think saying to Putin “we own these areas now (mineral mines) can you stop the bombing” Will work better than “ can you stop the bombing as I want to take control of these areas”  (obviously the quotes are simplified for when others wake up on here)

Nah.

Maybe they went to Putin and asked him to stop, and then they wouldn't need to supply Ukraine, and he said fuck off?

Or maybe they just haven't got the minerals (see what I did there 😀) to tell Putin to back down.

It seems the initial meeting in the middle east has been kept secret, and therefore it can only be interpreted that they got nowhere and/or are scared of him, so picked on his victim instead.

It would be quite humorous if Europe now got its act together and put Ukraine in a stronger position whilst signing a more expansive deal than the one already signed by Starmer.

Conciliatary noises coming from Zelensky by the sounds of things......

yep....which is a good thing, still no real noises from Russia though with regards to peace, I suspect we've still a way to go yet, hopefully we can start with some sort of ceasefire fairly soon though

Obviously having his arm twisted by his (true) allies to pander to the Great Orange One. I can see why but makes me sick to the pit of my stomach.  However this ends I want (1) Ukraine to come out as well as possible, (2) Russia to get as little as possible, and (3) the US to be marginalised and despised for what they’ve done….and for Trump/Vance/Rubio and the other scumbags to hear and see this hatred wherever they go for the next 4 years.

The world should never forget who Dumb Donnie sided with, how he’s screwed his allies and how utterly morally bankrupt he is……but we knew that anyway.

He'll be lauded as a genius whatever the outcome by his true believers.

The equivalent of someone robbing your house and then taking the credit for you installing a new burglar alarm 😁

Anything less than all Ukrainian land being returned is a failure.

Putin will just do it all over again now he knows he can get away with it

I reckon the best we can hope for now is Russia keeping Crimea, Luhansk and Donetsk.

And that's shameful.

Indeed.

The comments I heard attributable to him also said (not verbatim) "..as long as Russia stops launching missiles and bombs.."

Seems perfectly reasonable.

No doubt the American pressure will have had some effect, but I also reckon VZ's stance also rattled the Americans.

He's entitled to ask for certain assurances before handing over extraction rights.

Yeah - it's probably a combination of everything. I imagine there's been a bit of a nudge from Starmer and Macron. Plus the fact that Europe is mobilising and developing it's own peace plan. DT is probably worried about having the rug pulled from under him (and no mineral deal). He's going to want to take any credit clearly. I'm not particularly bothered as long as it gets sorted, but it's been nice seeing Europe and our own PM getting on the front foot.

I just hope VS stays true to his principles and doesn't cave in, just because he feels like he's no choice. Which is still a possibility.

Farage would make the UK a vassal state to the US so the only answer he deserves is fuck off you twat.
