VZ does have a history of seeming a touch ungrateful- maybe in part through his English speaking abilities. 

He has also said thank you too.

As I posted before though; everyone needs to put themselves into his shoes and consider what they'd do.

I'm sure that they would also push continually for more aid.

There is so undeniably a lot for some in power in Ukraine to account for the missing money/equipment, and in some cases for the poor use of it on the battle field.

Such things can and should be ironed out behind closed doors though, which makes the vice president's comments about what you say behind closed doors being most important head scratching.

Sort everything out properly before going public with accusations of dictatorship and arguments in front of the media.

He’s not insulting British families as the U.K. is not some random Country that will be putting 20k troops on the ground. Love seeing the usuals putting a spin on this.

It's how it was interpreted by a lot of people (including The Times). Extraordinarily clumsy language at best for someone in his position. Glad to see he's come out and offered an explanation - but he should be bright enough not to put himself there in the first place.

I mean - I don't think it's a great way for an elected official to talk about any country - but this is where we are these days. 

And it also undermines the efforts us Europeans are making to find a resolution. Which is what they've been asking for. So it's all just a bit confusing to me.

Farage did apparently, as he came out and said that Vance was wrong.
