Breightmet Boy
I'm happy with that and I bet nearly every other club in league 1 and 2 wouldn't mind that either.

Most tax is estimated so year on year business can be up a bit or down a bit and then it gets balanced out, so last year we overpaid and been refunded this year. Eddie
They show good progress, albeit trading was impacted significantly by Covid (obviously). They’re also a year out of date - not that that is anyone’s fault, it’s the way accounts work - but for a business that has seen as many changes as we have over such a short period of time it does mean that annual accounts aren’t really relevant to the current situation by the time they are published. Based on those, and knowing what has happened since, I’d bet that our financial year that has just ended last week will be pretty strong, and I reckon that we’re just about on an sure footing now. Obviously we won’t know until this time next year, but I get the sense that we’ll now be making decisions and spending money based on what we want to do, rather than what we need to do. I did think that after I read them that, even though I didn't know if it was good or bad... it was reporting on stuff that 18 months gone and a lot has happened since then. Even at the recent Business Networking Breakfast up at the club, you got a really really positive feeling about the current regime and how they want to interact with the local business community get them signed up for all kinds of propositions which will ultimately make the club £££s – and in turn they are proposing to actively assist these businesses in getting more business. (sorry for using business umpteen times). Even as just a fraction of what is going on at the club, I felt this was the start of something far more proactive. We appear to be in good hands. Let's hope the Bolton business community chips in and likewise the supporters support those businesses who are putting their hard-earned into the club. Winner winner then. Manchester_whites
Under Anderson we stopped paying the insurance for flying the flags at the front of the stadium. So no flags flew. We are now putting new carpets inside the hotel/corporate areas, so that tells you that we are heading in the right direction.
