Hope they haven't bought tickets in the home end again.

Doubt it, Home fans have difficulty buying tickets...

Shouldn't matter. Games in hand, so it's entirely down to your own consistency.

How was Dempsey today?

He was ok...much better 2nd half. We should have been 4 up by half time but they upped it after half time and we shit ourselves.  Thankfully pulled ourselves together but it wasn't comfortable.

Sunderland game is the first of a run-in that sees us play 9 games in 28 days. Saturday/Tuesday every week until Feb 26th.

Huge chance to build momentum and this is probably the toughest one in that run.

If we can win this, we'll have gained a load of confidence for the next few - Cambridge, Morecambe and Charlton who are all very beatable.

Yes a huge few weeks coming up, its also 12 games in 6 weeks from next Saturday to Plymouth on 12th March.  7 at home and 5 away, a great chance to make progress now that the squad is stronger, and the fixtures kinder on paper.  Only 8 matches left after this busy spell.

Quite looking forward to it after the last two games. Onwards and upwards.

Last home game I showed the person checking my vaccine status the back of my phone. He waived me through.

Buzzing for this one. Both teams trying to attack. They'e just signed Jack Clarke now to add to Patrick Roberts, so two tricky young wingers. Heard they might be in for Defoe too.

Hopefully their new signings are lacking match fitness or struggle to gel with their new teammates. Going to be a hard one but I back us.

Little to do around the ground anyway.

I’m sure he’ll enjoy himself doing something a little different.

Just been looking and this lot are not great away from home.

They have won only 2 of their last 8 aways - Doncaster & Cambridge.

Generally they are on a little bit of a wobble

Still take a point mind……

Bookies think its a walk in the park for S'land, got us 5/2 to win at home. We've had a few bad months but we've had two impressive wins back to back against a rejuvenated Ipswich side who's manager is meant to be the messiah & a Shrews team who's home form was formidable at the time. Not saying we've turned a corner although I seriously hope we have, think we was very good at SOL generally speaking just couldn't put the ball in the net. Their new signings are good on paper but they need to find a way to fit them all in yet. I respect Sunderland but f me they're not Bayern Munich or anything like people make out, they're a big club but it helps when they're from a city where only three teams are relevant near them.
