National Service is always called for by blokes too young to have to it when it was around and too old to do it now. Get to fuck3 likes

I always find this a little disrespectful to our armed forces. People who choose to sign up for whatever reason are lumped in with people who have broken the law and don't have a choice. Don't know what you do for a living but I would be pretty pissed off if everyone kept saying that criminals should be sent out to do my job.2 likes

It’s all good mate and you can debate away and try and see other people’s opinions even if you don’t agree unfortunately there’s a few who can’t engage and post sarcastic drivel2 likes

Be fucking boring on here if the only comment you can make when we win is “we won, move on”. I’m very much in the ‘result is the most important and the 3 points outweighs everything from last night’ camp - but I still find it interesting to discuss the match, whether it be the positive stuff or stuff that can be improved. Obviously people will go further one way or the other, whereas some will sit in the middle, it’s life. People will also get caught up in the moment and focus on one game rather than the bigger picture, it’s the irrationality that supporting a football club brings on. I love reading anything to do with us when we’ve won / watching highlights and WW gets most of my attention because there are few other places where analysis and views are as in depth / generally reasonable. Long live the debate in my eyes, if that means dealing with views you don’t agree with then it’s all part of the fun.2 likes

Mental isn't it? Unless it's all a load of bollocks. What's more mental is all the black folk voting a racist back in. Even more Mental is they've apparently had it so good under Biden. People are starting to wake up and the divide that was caused by those that want the problem to exist are slowly being ignored by the so called oppressed. It's great to see and hopefully will have a knock on effect here in GB.1 like

Don’t know why but I can’t picture him as president again… but if that’s the will of the American people so be it. It would be interesting to see how he deals with the big issues the world faces.1 like

I agree with most of that, but discipline is literally "taught" in the Military. It's probably the main thing they hammer into any recruit. It's why ex-armed forces sometimes struggle to re-adjust to civvy life where everyone fumbles through existance in a state of constant chaos.1 like

Fully agree, how can anyone really complain given where we are. Of course we’ll have bad days every team does but we obviously have less than the others😊1 like

Mate don’t stop what you do. I’m more in your camp and you discuss. Others go on like they are visionaries and can see stuff the rest of us plebs don’t. 2 different things for me.1 like

It'll never happen. There will, no doubt though, be a load of old Gammons (on Twitter) waffling on about what a great idea it would be, even though they never had to do it1 like

I don’t mind the tag. I take it as a term of endearment 🤣 Lots know me on here. And while I’m most definitely on the far side of the positive scale (life’s too short to drown yourself in negativity over your football team - it takes the enjoyment away), I’m realistic enough to know when they deserve criticism and calling out - didn’t have an issue Saturday. But some of the criticism I’m reading about the players and style of play from yesterday, is tunnell vision, not taking into consideration a whole bunch of other external factors. But we won. Football is about winning and fine margins, it’s not luck we have won 5/61 like

I’m suprised at the level and inconsistency of some of the in-game and post game criticism. Saturday - lost, we were poor, didn’t match the opposition, individuals not doing their jobs, criticism deserved Last night, battled, worked hard, got the crucial goal, found a way (not the usual way) in shit awful conditions and we WON! Yes it’s a forum and just because we won doesn’t mean we can’t debate the game and individuals blah blah blah. But some of the negative over-analysis of players passing, abilities and application in last last nights 50mph winds, as if we all of a sudden have become a bunch of underperforming pre-Madonna’s, is way over the top. Think some need a reminder of our current league form. We’ve won 5 out of the last 6.1 like

The big lad in middle was offside wasnt he? Surely in old money hes interfering with play? Fuck em anyway1 like

Sums it up for me. Nothing else matters. Seen it time and time again across all leagues. Classier team struggling against a bunch of grafters in shite conditions but managing to come away with the points. The measure of an automatic promotion outfit. KTF1 like

Shout out for the pillared Williams tonight. He put a shift in and was about the only bit of energy going forward. We do seem to be going rather direct at the minute. Probably due to men missing at the back and replacements not being as comfortable on the ball I suppose.1 like

They are the wins that define seasons. Neither team could string two passes together in the middle of 50mph winds that was bending the corner flag to the floor. We will look back on tonight and think that was the kick up the arse we needed. Sometimes youve got to ride your luck and win ugly. It doesnt get much uglier than that.1 like

My mates are over in Africa again having taken a load of football kits, boots, training kits and blankets to the Donkey Sanctuary in Marakesh, they are currently in Oumnas near the Atlas mountains, south of Marakesh, lots of people still living in tents following the earthquake, they are heading for the Mauritania border and hope to cross tomorrow. The first picture are the ones sent by Zico and the fellas wearing them are the coaches of the kids teams, BWFC also gave a lot of stuff again.1 like
