  1. While I totally agree it is a very sad event , I can't help but thinking ffs turn it in a tad, a young man very sadly dies in a car accident - it happens every day but we don't hear about most as they are not young famous sportsmen. Just let his family grieve in peace and in the way they choose.

  3. A bid came in during the second half, and someone nipped to the dugout to let SS know and told him to take him off? Just want to make sure I understand this reasoning!

  6. Half the reason we did so poorly in defence last year was the way Evatt had the team set up, the midfield 2/3 was packed with light weights, who other teams knew they could just bypass or bully. This for all intents and purposes mean't we didn't have a midfield from a defence perspective. So all the attacking pressure was put on the centre backs, this did a few things. It caused injury and made the defence look incompetent with mistakes, this caused a drop in confidence which created more mistakes. Toal, Forrester, Farino and GJ didn't go from being leading league 1 centre backs to being rubbish over the course of the 10 weeks between the end of the 23-24 season and the 24-25 season.

  11. So, going off the last 20 or so comments on 'new kit launch' this new away kit will be available in sizes s and m only and will look well smart with jeans and denim shorts with turn ups.

  12. Looks like we have entered who can be most grief stricken and suggest the most ludicrous things stage across the socials. Why can't people just be respectful and dignified without turning it in to a massive grief junkie attention seeking cock waving exercise all trying outdo eachother as to who can be most upset?

  18. other than all the reports of the IDF laying destruction of Gaza, the killing of 10s of 000s of innocents people and stopping aid from getting to the rest causing a humanitrian crisis, no I've not got evidence of an actual covenant where they specifically state this, no you know as well as I do that Israel can not obliterate ALL of Palestine and it's people, even though some posters think they could've easily done it by now had they wanted to but you also know, as well as I do, that Israel want Israel for themselves because everything they do and actually say demonstrates this time for some more honest answers fella, yes or no, do you think Israsel want to share Isreal wth Palestians, like a 2 state solution

  19. RIP to the two lads and condolences to their families. It was a double take moment when reading the news. Understandable that the fans of the club are rallying around. However I can also see the point some are making about the mawkish nature of some of the reaction. It becomes another form of virtue signalling ego-tripping and there is too much of it in the modern world.

  25. Two new pacey wingers cutting in getting shots off, Tutu & Schon for the more natural hit the by-line & get crosses in when things need changing up. Big fucker up top to bring them into play & be a target in the box. Hopefully sign that big massive Swedish brickhouse to kick the piss out of people in the midfield & allow the others to play. Pace & physicality

  30. This grates on me a bit. And it's no dig at you aldo but the number of times we read 'never heard of him' etc, well no course you've never heard of him, we are in division 3, are folk still expecting us to sign household names ? How many of the upcoming opponents players could people name without the aid of the teamsheet before the game. Very much a case of 'trusting the process'

  32. My brother lost 4 stone in a year by consuming a shit load of strawberries and water in the mornings. Made him full as a bastard and his farts were like weapons of mass destruction. So not only did he look better, he also pissed off his work colleagues. Win win.

  36. Odd signing if it's a four year deal and decent money by the looks of it. Half of his highlights look like they're on someone's training ground. That's not to say it's good or bad, I'm just not sure how they could have any idea about how he'll do in L1.

  39. Not great finally got a proper diagnosis after a long wasted period of fucking about alzheimers and dementia which was always clearly apparent already got to the point in time where she doesn't know who I am, albeit it's sporadic incidences of it at the moment so I'm focusing on cherishing the time I have with my mum knowing me, as best I can but the deterioration is much quicker than we had expected in recent months

  40. Possibly. I've said before, like Brexit, I don't think he really wants to win. He prefers being the plucky underdog. He'd shit himself if he had to do some real work, as being demonstrated by his piss poor MP type work at the minute.
