  1. I get the sentiment and appreciate trying to speak it into existence, but for me stuff like this always fills me with dread. I don't like putting stuff out in to the world for fear of it becoming some sort of karmic retribution. I'll just keep my mouth shut and be petrified internally until the result is known either way.
  2. That's the spirit
  3. We win this because it will be the final line drawn under the last decade of mediocrity, I've had a lot of personal sore points in the last 10 years or so that have since been put right, all of this rabble with the exception of Stockport. It's all lined up for our exit from league 1 Wigan: we've put an end to a long list of losses and draws and putting up with their generally on-going cuntery with 3 back to back wins - I'm now content to leave them behind Accy Stanley: the 7-1 dry bummin' combined with a few seasons of getting nothin against them to a string of wins, the papa johns semi win and them now rotting off in League 2 - cheerio! Burton Albion: years of bummings and being bullied by these men, particularly Lloyd Dyer distributing pure schlong, for us to buy him, and he being complete horse shit....to turn it around with a string of wins (away day this year excepted) - happy to never see these lot again Morecambe: although they never beat us, they annoyed me, and the twats that are Cole Stockton & that twat Santa can't be forgotten - the 1-1 draw in the 117th minute or whatever it was put all that right, them bumming off into the depths of none league now - all wrongs righted, cya! Oxford: never had any beef with them, even the defeat in the final - but seeing their players sing "bolton get battered" on the victory bus stayed with me, I am now happy to see them relegated back to League 1 , the scriptwriter has it that we will be replacing them. Messers Sarcevic & Humpherys: Just a pair of cunts that grate me, to dump them out of the playoffs together was satisfaction. Time to never see them again. Stockport: The FA Cup shambles in 2021, the 5-0 dicking and the lack of any win minus the Pizza game has given them bragging rights to date. So, as per the above list of jokers it's time that was reversed, hence, everything is lined up for us to win Sunday and leave these lot behind too This list could have gone on and on but I'd like to hear other peoples versions of "wrongs that have been righted" in the last 10 years?
  4. 27.5K or thereabouts now
  5. Some hard drives need checking from Monday onwards. Some top tier (no pun intended) noncery going on. Fantastic scenes

  7. 👏 👏 👏 hopefully it pushes over 28k so the club can announce it and stop everyone mithering
  8. back in the day, The Flying Scotsman would have been a shout.....
  9. coming soon to a parliament near you
  10. I’m hoping we might just top 27k. To beat our attendances against Bristol, Tranmere, Villa, Preston and Stoke would be great. Especially under these circumstances, 26k+ whites travelling down is absolutely magnificent. I know following our attendances isn’t everyone’s bag, but in comparison to our GM and Lancashire neighbours I think it’s something really special about us that should be enjoyed and celebrated 👏 Again it’s not everybody’s opinion and it doesn’t always follow this pattern, but having everyone of those fans, shouting, chanting and backing our team could make a real difference. COYFWM 👏👏
  11. Pep has been superb for them. Though the open cheque book might have helped a bit. However, much as I admire their version of Pep-Ball I think it's adoption so broadly, by players with barely 1% of their ability, has been overall a detriment to football as an entertainment.

Folk saying all the bloke did was watch a training session.. They had full on sonar equipment listening to conversations What a bunch of fucking nobs. They deserve all they get. They could've just asked our @Zog1for his full analysis and data and saved themselves all this hassle.

At least use the Football Ventures thread, lads. I keep thinking we've signed Messi but remain disappointed.

Though since the EFL brought the rule in about spying, they should have an appropriate punishment in place and not leave it to an independent panel otherwise teams will take the piss Red card for violent conduct equals three match ban, we know that If you get done for speeding, you know how many points you're getting Instead they've sold tickets to both sets of fans who have booked trains, hotels etc and neither set of fans know if they'll be playing on Saturday because rather than enforce their own rules, they've passed the buck It's an absolute shit show

Ian Evatt was our manager. No need to spy on us, everyone knew our tactics,
  16. Please dont apologise- I wondered why all my mates were asking about my extension? Makes sense now

  19. Surprised we’ve sold any after the last pathetic Wembley appearance
  20. Think we will go over 28k which is a tremendous following for 1pm kick off on Sunday and trains fucked
  21. A few of us are staying in Putney Bridge and a few King’s Cross. Depends how it goes down where we end up ha

The EFL should never have let the Boro v Southampton game go ahead in the first place. This should have dealt with before it got to the point we're now at.
  23. Still a lot to shift in the 200 blocks and 11 blocks not open in the top tier; we are about 26500 now
  24. Think it must've been same for Plymouth game too. Met some of my lads Uni mates down at Exeter when we played there, and one had been in London the weekend we played Plymouth. Him and his mate got tickets on a whim and ended up in our end. I didn't get the impression he was really a football fan, but he was mightily impressed by the crowd and atmosphere and followed our results since. Then ended up in a student house share with a white!
  25. got a tape measure in a drawer of random crap, including batteries, if that counts?

aye I seem to be in a minority being delighted arsenal won it they've done it the old fashioned arsenal way lots of clean sheets, goals from set pieces, with goals coming from all over the squad Raya equalled Seaman's record of 19 clean sheets defences win titles and all that hope they stick it up PSG as well

Oh dear. Couldn't really happen to anyone else other than Jake Berry, who is a massive cunt. The residents of Rossendale on this forum will confirm this.
  31. He should be placed on tarmac and run over on his head by a tractor driven by a robot.

I think you're massively overestimating how much teams are specifically working on playing Hull. Middlesbrough won't have done hours and hours and hours of anything to this point. Hull and Middlesbrough have played each other twice already this season. Both teams are used to playing different opponents Sat-Tues so this isn't an unusually short turnaround. Maybe Hull will argue otherwise if they lose, but the disadvantages balance themselves out. Only the most optimistic Boro player or coach will have been going at full tilt this week truly expecting to be playing on Saturday. And it's still not certain to be the case even now.
  33. It is forecast 28 degrees on Sunday I can see our end being a sea of pink.
  34. So which of those organising were arrested? Anyone with half a brain cell knows he’s trying to pin all those arrests on the unite march, it was only when he was questioned he started waffling about not seeing the breakdown. Im more concerned about the deputy PM bullshitting and waffling on TV

They work on team specific programmes. Shape, transitions, presses and scour loads of data and watch loads of tape in order to prepare as much as possible for the opponent they’re playing. Hours upon hours upon hours of work on and off the training pitch will have already been done by Boro and Saints specifically for the task of facing Hull. Hull haven’t been able to specifically prepare for anyone. Of course they’ll still be training and keeping themselves sharp, but they are at a real disadvantage.
  36. If you’re going to change anywhere then rock bottom feels like a good place to start
  37. That’s very helpful. Please pass on my thanks to Sluffy for his clear explanation of a poor article by the BN.
  38. She wasn’t small. She just wanted me to sit down, so she could. But she still wouldn’t have been able to see. As the group in front of us were stood up. if everyone’s sitting, I’ll sit. I’m not gonna stand up on my own. But I do prefer to stand at games, so I was pleased everyone else around us was. She was being a right cunt about it. We offered to swap rows, but to accommodate them, but they wouldn’t have it. anyway, why the fuck am I justifying myself! I was right! 😂
  39. He didn’t need to come. I think they did a live stream from Poland on a big screen. No idea what he said but I bet it included something about free speech. Probably made more publicity than if he’d actually come. I doubt anyone would be talking about it now if he did.

    So, less than an hour.😊
  41. Why assume when he says the organisers? He then lies about the number of arrests. Basically waffling and lying through his speech and of course you agree with him. All very strange
  42. “You cannot appeal this decision” so a politician wanting to enter can’t appeal, murderers, rapists etc getting kicked out can appeal and are allowed to stay 😆😆😆 someone make it all make sense.
  43. I see that but with all the Channel’s Sky have now, including the + Channel, surely they could have screened it without any disruption to their blessed PL shite. They just chose not to and it didn’t matter one jot how it affected the fans.

The Labour Party elite creating a vacancy and assuming Burnham will just walk into the position because the hoi polloi electorate will just believe and do what they want them to... I'd tell them to eff off, cock and balls time for my voting slip or preferably a good independent
  45. Well if you are going to say they’re spreading hatred and division when they weren’t (going off what you said) it would make sense wouldn’t it not? So you can allow Tommy Robinson, Mr far right, mr radical himself to organise and stage a demo in the capital. Make it make sense. How many of the speakers were arrested for spreading hate? Oh and as for targeting one side, I think this is the 2nd demo Robinson has had since Labour have been in power, there’s been literally 100s of pro Palestine in the same time with 1000s arrested yet they’re still at the “spoke the other day” stage 🙄
  46. How on earth he holds the position he does never ceases to amaze me, he always comes across as thick as fuck.
  47. By the beard of Zeus! 😁
