  1. Thought Richard Taylor looked assured & composed at the back (Would be gutted if an SPL team swooped in for him this summer) Randall looked stronger on the ball & more robust (Would be sad if Evatt decided to put a few hundred K our way for him) McAtee was very classy & dangerous when on the ball. (Hopefully Barnsley don’t try to get him back) 🫰🤥
  2. Anyone getting maudlin over this game needs more beer.
  3. It's a kick about FFS. DAC are on their 6th game
  4. People ask why I cant be arsed Are we down yet?
  5. one for 40 2 for 70 3 for a 100er
  6. I didn't watch the game and have no idea about the performances. They mean nothing and either does the result. However, that line up is/was absolutely awful. I don't need a preseason kick about to tell me that. We need players in pronto and need to pray there's a plan to get some in.
  7. One first half of our first pre season game is no time to be writing anyone off surely? 🤯
  8. Our DNA is that fucked that we have been to two finals and two semi finals in the past 5 competitions? Do me a favour. You left all your ball players at home and went for 4 like for like wingers and 2 injured full backs. That's on you. Not DNA.
  9. Burnham may or may not be able to change things to make the country better, to improve the lives and livelihoods of folks living here. But, no one can deny that there are ideas and an honest, genuine intent there. The guy deserves a chance. I can’t for the life of me understand why anyone would think that Farage, the self-serving, lying, grifter would do anything remotely positive. Chalk and cheese.
  10. I am not necessarily disagreeing that we have some players who aren't good enough for the championship and some won't be at the club come season kick off anyway. I am just saying you can't write a player off for a season based on one first half of our first friendly of the season that's all.
  11. The number of so called patriots who want the PM of the country to fail is outstanding.
  12. Palmer had been shit for weeks at Chelsea Foden hardly does anything for England Think hindsight is deciding who should have gone
  13. I've televised alot of pre season games abroad and European teams are generally 1-3 weeks ahead with the start of pre season training, so normally sharper and fitter especially in these early summer games, so no panic. It's just a run out
  14. That team would struggle in league 2. Absolutely fucking shite.
  15. Can't disagree. Carbon copy of what Southgate did in the Euro final against Italy in a way.
  16. I’ll be correcting this one until the day I die. Accrington Stanley - reformed or the original version - are in no way linked to Accrington FC, who were founder members. Accrington FC and Accrington Stanley coexisted in the 1890s and were crosstown rivals.
  17. New away kit https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/back-burgundy-202627-away-kit-launched
  18. Can we give the final a British flavour? - and pretend it's actually Northern Gibraltar v West Falklands 🙂

Thats the type of thing the club is really really great at, along with charity and anything to do with kids and local and wider area. Pretty much everything apart from football ffs.
  20. so he has a few choices here if he has a vision of how to play but doesn't think he has the players to fulfil it, then leave if he wants to stick with his vision, use the players that are the best equipped to do it, unless he doesn't think they are good enough change his vision and find one that fits with the players at his disposal it wasn't DNA that put 6 defenders to defend a lead despite previously commenting on how not to do things in big matches
  21. Sticking up for tuchel a touch on one tiny detail it wasn't his squad selection that let him down it was the in game management. At 1-1 Bellingham broke away and had no cunt up there with him to pass to at that point I knew we'd fucked it.
  22. Well he obviously isn’t learning from it because he’s stated he didn’t do anything wrong and it was the mindset and DNA of the players that cost us. The guy is deluded just like two tier who thinks he’s left the country in good shape!!
  23. I think Tuchel's right about it not being in our DNA to control, to be fair We still don't seem to produce the kind of midfield pivot to allow us do that, especially on that kind of stage We've no Modric, no Rodri, no Busquets, etc. But our way forward was to hit them on the break and instead we decided to sit very deep and keep bringing defenders on
  24. They're shitting themselves about a bloke with a bin on his head.
  25. I doubt that first half line up was anything more than an opportunity for some players to show some potential or put themselves in a shop window. It's hardly going to represent the team come the start of the season. Setting up a watering system for veggie plants this evening was more interesting than today's line ups and performances. A few weeks hence and things will.become so.
  26. No. I'm a figment of your imagination.
  27. I remember us beating Liverpool 4-1 and thinking everything was going to be perfect
  28. War. It's never been so much fun.
  29. I'm off to play Cannon Fodder on my old Amiga This war thing is a piece of piss Chuck a load of bombs, sorted Where do I sign up?
  30. Young lads decent. Defence looked more solid second half....Like Rodrigeus nasty streak Watson and Ritchie both good. Davies and Forino steady........They were awful and shithouses very Stevenage Take Dalby, Stephenson and Sheehan and perhaps The lad we got from Hull and none of the rest are Championship ready from that first half team
  31. I said it at the time but I wasn't too upset at them two being left out. Gibbs-White was the one for me that I was more surprised about. As you say, Palmer and Foden have done nothing for 95% of the season. There was no reason that the players he had at his disposal couldn't have won that game on Wednesday.
  32. wanderers tv dac streda youtube or http://www.fawanews.sc/Dunajska%20Streda%20vs%20Bolton.html
  33. I'm going with Andy "We didn't Burn him!"
  34. What’s the match being screened on please?
  35. Yard slower than these.....Stephenson best of a bad bunch......We will get better but if we start with Bonham we are not going to survive. Just my opinion
  36. Questionable the value of a game against a side miles further on in their prep when we only went back into training barely a fortnight ago, other than it being a bit like that City showcase game in midweek, circulate the video to interested clubs. Two woeful goals conceded though we ought actually to have been level, three good situations wasted near the end
  37. This. Their season starts on Thursday! After suffering through all this competence in the WC, it was lovely to see McAtee thunder a shot into the stand. We're BACK!
  38. The idea is, I think, you subscribe to the monthly pass for £5 then cancel if you dont want it to auto renew
  39. Wrong team! Thanks for spotting. https://m.youtube.com/@FCDAC1904/featured?ra=m
  40. I do not think he has quite grasped that running costs outside of what we pay in Salaries does not come out of SCR Despite being told that many times on here and me understanding it who failed his 11+ and cse basic maths
  41. Coached my dad at Thornleigh back in the 60s
  42. This agreeing lark doesn't feel right 😜
  43. Or we could just watch him get humiliated in the mid-terms, then again in the 2028 Presidential election. If he gets assassinated, the MAGA movement will just ramp up, with an even bigger cunt at the helm.
  44. It depends if they can get the ball or not. I'd expect Spain to be upwards of 60% possession, with Argentina disrupting and fouling from the off. If Spain can cope with that, they'll be fine, but I'd imagine Argentina will be targeting a hothead like Cucurella from the start, and looking to get him riled up. As we've seen, even the slightest lapse of concentration, when you have Messi and Alvarez, and they'll happily punish you. If Spain don't allow themselves to get dragged into the game Argentina want to play, they'll be OK I might look at, although I bet the odds are shit, a double on yellow cards for Simeone and Cucurella
  45. He's blaming England's DNA and lack of passers etc. He left them all at home the massive fucking weirdo. He opted for a team of attacking wingers that can barely pass the ball. 4 of the fucking things. If he wanted ball players he had Palmer Foden and Trent all sat at home who can pass the ball better than any of our squad combined. What a deluded wanker. Sack him now.
  46. I’m told Twickets and Tixel usually have resale tickets and usually not too much of a markup. I’m waiting for my ticket buyer to let me know if there are other means.👍
  47. I honestly don't think Forss would be a bad signing, he is very experienced at the level and showed us glimpses of his abilities. Offering him a one year deal to supplement that frontline might be worth a thought.
  48. "Co-Pilots" thoughts on Sluffy: Based solely on this excerpt, I'd say Sluffy comes across more as a highly argumentative and pedantic poster than an obvious "wind-up merchant." A few observations: Signs that don't strongly suggest trollingHe generally responds to the substance of points being made (loan contracts, options to buy, player transfers). He doesn't appear to be deliberately posting outrageous opinions just to provoke reactions. He often tries to justify his position with examples or explanations rather than simply insulting people. Signs that make people react to himHe is very literal and pedantic ("loquacity relates to speech", "dripping tap or spews, can't be both"). He appears sensitive to criticism and repeatedly frames comments as people "having a pop" at him. He tends to prolong arguments rather than letting them die. He often adopts a slightly condescending tone ("How stupid of you", "You do know what lugubrious means don't you?"), which can irritate other posters. The reaction of other membersWhat's notable is that multiple posters seem frustrated with him: wakey repeatedly mocks his posting style. Zog1 makes jokes about him being long-winded. only1swanny refers to a "know it all Nigel." That suggests he's developed a reputation on the forum, whether deserved or not. My verdictIf I were moderating a forum, I probably wouldn't classify Sluffy as a classic troll/wind-up merchant from this page alone. A classic wind-up merchant usually posts things mainly to provoke and harvest reactions. Instead, Sluffy looks more like: The result is similar—threads get dragged off-topic and people become irritated—but the motivation appears more like defending his position than deliberately trolling. From this page alone, I'd rate him: Pedant: 9/10 Argumentative: 8/10 Victim mentality: 7/10 Deliberate wind-up merchant: 4–5/10
