No but his defensive play was poor; out of position all the time

I honestly think a lot of folk havent a clue what a wing back is expected to do

Its never going to be a full back and a winger

Hadn’t seen the post but, yeah, it looks like they asked about the home leg and got an answer about the away leg 🙄

"so Neil, first on the agenda is the ticketing issues regards Barnsley tickets"

"yeah so that was ticketmasters fault, and they told us it won't happen again, but to be fair, what to you expect when so many people are trying to buy tickets at the same time - plus on the other hand isn't it great so many people want to back the whites eh, when I came in, it took days to shift tickets, so it's all good really when you look at it like that, progress on and off the pitch"

"ok, yes, you're right, I'll put a post up that it's all sorted.  now next up, are we definitely going with the wanderer as the walkout music or would you like us to do another poll? our social media consultant is offering us a discount on our next poll and will set it up for just £350 plus vat, I manged to wangle us a deal because we're such a good customer"

David Burke and Phil Brown. Thou shall not pass ones halfway line at any point.

That's what Evatt said a while back.

Ultimately though, it's up to him to just engage brain sometimes, and don't commit to a challenge he simply isn't going to win.

Magoma did that against Pompey a few weeks ago and got dog’s abuse for it.

Just saying, like.

Yes, I did mean Magoma. And yes, I know magma is a thing.

Did what?

I remember him not bothering to challenge a player and letting him run; that's different to not going all out for a ball that isn't there to be won.

Thomo sometimes over commits and it costs him.

Maghoma didn't commit on that occasion and rightly got stick.

Tomaytoes tomatoes. In his own head, if he’d decided to go full bore into a tackle which resulted in a yellow card what’s the difference?

Good job I have three hands; one for the flag they want me to bring and one for each hand-clapper.

I'm staying over tonight and need to get to Ashton U Lyne for 9am. For you regular commuters what's the traffic like around the M61 / M60 junction in the morning?

It's an absolute mare 9 days out of 10.

I work in Heywood most days .

To be onsite for 8am , I leave Westhoughton at 7.15 .

When I'm on a course at HSS ,,Ashton I leave at 7.15 at the latest . Junction 18 is a mare .

Good luck.

PS do not attempt to go via Barton Bridge.

Am I better going into town and out via Whitefield to get on the M60?

As broad as long as Manchester road through whitefield to Jct 17 is shite too. Clockwise from the end of St Peter’s way to simister island is a pain but you’ve got passed there it shouldn’t be too bad to Ashton

overall though  I’d say off at kearsley down through stoneclough & up ringley road, passed whitefield golf club and come out at McDonald’s then jump on at 17

Anything that involves the m60 is going to be shit and simmister island is a bottle neck but going the opposite way than most of the traffic will help a little
