The interpretation is. And if the challenge is as described, then the rule simply hadn't been followed. Quote

Clearly petulant, barely touched the lad and got sent off. Kind of, but swap out barely touched the lad for ‘swiped him up in the air’. Think of a primary school kid just swiping at another because he can’t get the ball and just gets overly frustrated. Quote

In the shinpad. Medium strength. A show of petulance and frustration rather than an assault. It's the kind of thing Sheehan does every other week when their midfielders run past him. Quote
Farnywhite Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 (edited) It’s dangerous play so a red by the rules . ( and a lot higher than the shin more the thigh ) anyway he was on the pitch to miss is pen so all the better rough justice Edited August 13, 2024 by Farnywhite Quote
masi 51 Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 Matete the only one who looks to have given Evatt a nudge....For me he starts Sunday and push Sheehan forward. Thomason and Matete all day long in the middle of the park Quote

Not sure why GT didn’t engage there, he did the same with the fella that hit the bar on Saturday, just ran next to him and let him keep going. Maybe trying to cut out the one foul, its a card, this season I notice johnston may have grabbed the baton On the goal, any one or all 3 of cogley, tutu and tomo can have that Quote

With Lolos out I'd have thought Evatt might consider Collins Charles and McAtee as the front 3? Like I said before, I'm struggling to see where Sheehan fits in now but whilst Evatt is still working out the best combo he will probably be shoehorned in somewhere. Quote

Boateng then takes an almighty swipe at him with the ball nowhere in the vicinity. It's as blatant a red as you'll see. Quote
DazBob Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 ... And talking of Matete, very impressed with him tonight. Interested to hear @Mounts Kipper's opinions. Quote
auckland_bwfc Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 (edited) Halfway through that penny shootout I convinced myself I wasn't bothered about goin out, then we clawed back in to it and it meant everything again..... Any chance we can get spurs away in round 2? .....we'll probs end up pulling out Gillingham or Exeter away.... And that big baldy head for them not getting a red was outrageous.....although he did make me laugh when he just got up and started walking back to his position walking through our players like terminator 😆😆 Edited August 13, 2024 by auckland_bwfc Quote
