Maybe, possibly also just a lack of understanding with new players as he looked like he expected Tutu to come forward and engage instead.

Either way, he could do with finding that balance soon because letting players just run at the defence whilst just jogging next to them isn’t the answer.

Separate note - regardless of the result, Johnston looks very comfortable in completing 90 mins, Matete looks a real good’en, the front 3 finishing the game have linked really well.

Whatever happens I think Matete did enough to get a starting spot, Tutu is a work in progress, Forino doesn't look fit yet, McAtee was trying too hard for the personal glory and would have been better being more team focused and Southwood looked a little shaky at times. A learning experience and a good work out.
