Just saying what I think. Don't give a fuck if people disagree - forums are for opinions aren't they?

Good run out for all the lads tonight and whilst it was never classic stuff I think everyone showed something. We certainly looked a class better when Charles, Collins and Thommo came on though and Victor is looking a real powerhouse. Nice to get another home draw against a lower level team to keep everybody getting minutes then if we can get through that a real money spinner draw somewhere to help the finances. No Dan tonight though so wonder if he’s offski?

Just back.

Bit disjointed at times, but that’ll improve as they gel a bit more.

Great strike from Thomason.

Southwood wasn’t looking up to much on the early penalties but really turned it round, fair play to him.

Home tie in the next round please.

A much more exciting game than anticipated! Was nice to return back after 4 months or so.

We looked quite disjointed but expected considering 7 new players all starting and others not fit. Was a great run out for them and against a decent side. We will be much the better from that game.

I have to say all the new lads I've seen so far look class and give us aspects we have been missing.

Tutu looks fantastic and Matete in particular looks a level above, him and Thommo in the middle could really be something.

I'm excited by this team, but onto Sunday now. There's going to be a lot of folk there who haven't watched us since Wembley. We've got a job to do.

Well sky's coverage is fucking shite !!

Missed the first half as still working

Second half and pens was a joke. Dunno if it was their coverage or my Sky but it was like watching an 80s YouTube clip of a Roadrunner video recorded on a shit phone from someone’s VHS tape on the telly. And the commentary was woeful

Fuck it. We won

A slow start but it turned into an enjoyable night out.

Unsurprisingly with so many changes we were disjointed but individually I wouldn't worry about any of them starting games.......i'd have Matete & Vic as closest to breaking into last Saturday's team.

& apart from a couple of early dodgykicks, Southwood looks a very competent keeper.

Not impressed with McAtee looked like a Sunday League player who thought he was better than he was because he'd spent some time at a pro academy. Complaining about everything and trying stuff that wouldn't have worked in a month of Sundays.

We looked disjointed as you'd expect with so many changes and new faces. Matete and Tutu looked good uns.

But we're through and players got proper minutes into their legs.

Had their 44 not been the next one up after Randy's miss I'd have been joining the hordes flouncing out. He struck me as someone who's at the centre of everything either good or bad and when he missed just a badly as Williams it felt back on again

Dire watch but good to see a few of the new players. Few scares with a couple of shithouse challenges & unfortunate knocks but they seemed okay thanks fook. Victor a beast, always had the traits but cleaned up on the distribution which is fantastic should he keep it up. Matete & Tutu looked liked they could be big players when settled

It’s all about opinions and you’re welcome to your opinion… I’ll just say you should have gone to Specsavers.

He has got a track record of scoring spectacular goals but I agree with you that tonight he didn't look like a team player - which was disappointing after his excellent cameo against Orient.

It's good to have someone with a bit of swagger about them and McAtee has a lot of talent but he was trying too hard to impress with the spectacular instead of keeping it simple - and at times he made a bit of a dick of himself and let down his teammates.

I'd still pick him though - and hopefully Evatt will have a word in his ear.

Baxter

Toal Santos Johnston

JDC Matete Tommo Schon

McAtee Dion Collins

Our best team for this system IMO.

Sorry Josh....

Early days but ... Think we're too open with only 2 cm's.

The 2 wingbacks have been pushed back in both games limiting their attacking roles and when they do go forward it leaves massive gaps because the front 3 can't retain the ball as well as we used to. Losing that extra man in midfield will hurt us. Hope Thomason and Matete prove me wrong.

It's an issue but it improved massively v Orient when Sheehan went off and Matete and George were together.

Today was different and we got further up the pitch when those two were in tandem. TBH if George hadn't been jogging back instead of cutting off Keillor Dunn and both Tutu and JDC backed off when he was on them it would have been much easier but I put that down to them not having developed a relationship and neither wanted to go to the runner - and not having Toal on the right to push them forward. Other than the goal, Mansfield got no joy once those two were in the middle despite having thrown loads of attackers on. Prior to that they had a lot of chances.

With a full team and a bit of practice we could be brilliant in that formation.
