My lad turned 9 last month and got to read the team sheet out before the game. This is the last thing I'd expect him to do. Out of character really as he is quiet and reserved. Passion shows itself in all sorts of ways. Proud of him. Onwards and Upwards COYWM IMG_8486.mov He did a great job! Really liked the way he read them in true announcer style with some emphasis on the surname, rather than just reading as normal. Some achievement to do that to so many people at such a young age (not an easy thing for an adult!) Quote

My legs were shaking a lot more than his Quote

boltonboris Posted January 19 Posted January 19 I was critical of Dalby's technical 'abilities' at Half Time, but he was good second half. Won everything tossed up to him and I do think he'll excel if we maintain the wing-backs. Earlier crosses outswinging away from the keepers with an extra man to get any seconds.. I hope we keep it up. I think we have the personnel for it now Quote

Notable for a different angle on the Max Conway header which was a much better save than I thought , them moaning about us being dirty and the quick interview with the wigan MENSA member at the end . .. ‘You have to have faith, just like George Micheal said’ Not sure why the brainiac at the end thought Schumacher should be fucked off. The ref was a bell end but I thought let more go for them. If we have 60% possession they are to be tackling us more than the other way round. Quote
Chrisj Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Their fans are in absolute meltdown over in their forum doesn’t appear anyway back for Lowe. I know it won’t happen but would be soo funny to see them go down. They still harp back to the Richardson era not realising that it was funded by money they didn’t have. Danson has come in and said find it yourself and they can’t accept it Quote

Each time they came over his was cheering and laughing with the fans Fair enough, I take it back if that was his response, fair play to him. Its a strange situation especially for the loan players, they will be focused on making an impression and maybe getting a permanent move but will want success to be with them in the team. A bit different for the likes of Sheehan, Johnston, Simons, Conway who are more embedded in the team/squad even if they are occasionally dropped. They can be confident of being part of any success short and medium term so you'd think would be more invested in the team winning without them in it. Quote

There will most likely be players in the squad who when they're not playing, will want us to lose. It's quite natural. Loanee's or Perms Quote

It is a good save! Bolton are sooo dirty 😀. I wonder what the foul count was. Quote

Nothing better than the ball hitting the net and the 'Fuck off, fuck right off'. There was some SERIOUS headloss in gimp corner. Quote

Sheehan accepting the abuse. LW will no doubt be demanding their fans are banned. 😀 quality angle of the goal at 7:30 that Quote

Loanee's or Perms I would say that applies to most of them, completely understandably. Cissokho and Gale are 22/23 and have already played for 6/7 clubs in various European countries. I wouldn't expect either of them to care that we beat Wigan when they weren't on the pitch. Quote

Like when your kid gets subbed for his junior team.... obviously we all want their replacements to score and the team do really well. ...or do we 🤣😬 Edited January 20 by gonzo Quote

Most first team players will be making money when we win and they are in the squad. Maybe more if actually playing but still all about £££. Quote
