frank_spencer Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Unless trotter had a knock or something , I can't understand the logic of dropping him. He's been our best performer last 4 games.Especially since Lennon said post match that Pratley was ill today. Quote

MS1 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I think pratley is the weak link , i think he's slow , he tackles with his hands , doesn't bare thinking where we could be if spearing was picked every week he wins the ball 90% of the time , it has to be him and trotter in front of the back four with mavies pushed up behind the striker , feel a mention for rob holding no nonsense centre half doesn't care about booting the ball out rather than get caught in possession. bwfc87 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I'd have to watch their goal back but I thought Holding had it sorted until someone else got in his way? Anyway don't really give a fuck, we won, that's all that matters. COYWM Quote

Anderson Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I think Rob Holding is our best player by a country fucking mile, what a defender he is. The more I see them the more I wonder why these young lads aren't getting more games, Woolery's pace is monstrous. Anyway, great result, not a good performance but who gives a shit? Madine and Trotter in for Heskey and Madine next game and we're looking a decent side. Not that Heskey didn't do well, just can't do it for long enough. Quote
stevieb Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Went to my seat for the last 10. Obviously the catalyst for a win. Celebrations for that goal where the reason I go to the match. Fucking superb. Quote
shaunw1302 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Little lads my new lucky charm. Took him to the last 2 home games and won both. On the down side I keep missing late goals because he needs a piss. Nappies next time kidda Quote

Came to the MK Dons game the other week, been today and coming to the QPR game. Quote
Rizlar Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Impressed with Holding looks the part decent enough performance 3 points will do me still don't see what Davies brings anymore. Quote

shaunw1302 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Mines only 2 doesn't give a shit about football only interested in lofty the bleeding lion but we win when he comes so that'll do for me. Quote

Have to agree with the Holding comment one man defence. Can't believe he's out of contract end of this season. Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Strangely enough Mavies was much better second half once he went on the right. Football was better once Feeney went up top too. Feel sorry for Heskey. Does alright when they get the ball to him, but he can't run, not his fault. Still like to see us with two up, at least at home, but if not then only one of Mavies and Pratley. Spearing and Trotter got to start. The former was excellent today, doesn't always find a man but neither does anyone. He covers the ground and gets challenges in which is what we've been missing. Woolley's pace scared the shit out of them, and gave the fans and the team a lift. Quote
radcliffe white Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 The main thing it's 7 from 9! It wasn't pretty in fact fucking dire in parts but it's a win! Amos made amends today for some shambolic performances this season well done First time back in east lower for 3 years and the police filming and taking notes is unreal and laughable Quote
gonzo Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Well that felt good. Not felt that for a long time! The match itself resembled a dodgem car lap at Bispham Gala. Every fucker turning in little circles bumping into eachother. Lennon playing 30odd minutes with feeney alone up front with woolyback and dobbie on the bench is baffling. Completely insane. But fuck it, we won. And it felt ace. Lets enjoy our Saturday night. Come on you white men. Quote
This is it... Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Woolery beating those 2 defenders to that ball when they had 20 yard on him was unreal. Rubbish performance but 3 points that counts at this stage. Amos kept us in it at times. Quote
frank_spencer Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Heskey had no cunt within 20yds of him for most of the game. Outside of Didier Drogba in his pomp most strikers would struggle playing in thathe situation. Quote
DaveTheRave Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Great result. Not the best performance but who gives a fuck. We won. Trotter has to be back in the team next game. Woolerys pace is amazing. The great escape is on. Come On You Whites!!! Quote
superkev Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 First 5 were good and last minute was mental. In between was dire. We'll take it though. Quote
SnoopJohnnyJohn Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Pratley has scored a few important ones recently , without those we'd be cut adrift. 3 of his 4 goals were in the FA Cup, and his one league goal came in a 3-1 win. I dare say his goals have made no difference to our league position. Quote
tomy taylor Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 It might sound different in America - but a scoreline of 2-1 compared to 1-1 makes a pretty big difference going in to stoppage time Quote
