Seem to remember Braaten scored an absolute blinder of a goal for us and fuck all else. Bit like Liam Trotter would do a few years later.

Nope. Turned out 6 times, scored once, a toe-poke v Reading in a 3-0 win, at about the 95th minute.

aye, scuffed one over the line with a high leg up in the air toe job

my favourite thing about that clip is his attempted cross at the end

Shows what time does I could've sworn that goal was flashier. Proper scissor kick job.

Couldn't help noticing 2 of the 3 celebrating our opening goal together no longer with us, very sad.

On another note, the crowd for that Reading game looked lower than most of our Saturday home games now, officially 20k but loads of empty seats.

Bit harsh to conclude by having a dig at the youth of today when you two have literally just made up this scenario. I can’t imagine either of you have actually talked to any footballers under the age of 30 to understand their football history knowledge 😂 - don’t let that get in your way though, bloody youngsters.

Correct. You can’t imagine.

Hocus Pocus?

The only good thing of note Wilhelmsen brought to Bolton was his wife

Same out come though

Growing up as a kid my fave players were ballers in Ronaldinho and Okocha, I knew he wouldn't be anywhere near as good, but thought he'd be entertaining at least, but he was a huge flop and hardly played, I don't think I've been proper excited for a signing since Chungy, I'm keen to see our new players nowadays, but I don; think my mind allows me to get excitied about lower league players, knowing what we once had and what I used to love to watch.

I’d be surprised as I know he’s been running up and down Rivvy pike with a back pack on for pre season.

As he should be.

Very difficult to find out anything about Jesper Ceesay. Swedish fans I know don’t support Norrköping and the internet mainly has stuff about his brother Joseph who is on Malmö’s books but on loan to Cesena in Serie B last year.

So from the fans forums (and bear in mind this is fans talking) I gather

- he is already a Bolton player as per wiki

- they rate him as a stick a foot/head in DM who protects the defence well and adds height at set pieces - I thought he was more CM.

- he’s been angling for a move and has been a bit of a prick/troublemaker recently to get one. Maybe they are referring to the agent, but I can’t tell.

- has (and I quote) “an annoying injury history”

- lacks attacking instincts (they are particularly sore about an open goal chance he missed against a rival)

- will be missed by many of their fans

..and the general impression is that he’s a good defensive shield, but not much more. Not what I imagined tbh.

Muamba-esque?

With Forino, Taylor and this mon, we’re going to have some big lads with a bit of steel this time around. Just need some pace, finesse and finishing going the other way.

We have some talented midfielders (ATM) so it will all come down to the ins and outs and the balance Schuey goes for, but for me, as it stands, we already have the makings of a competitive team.

According to twitter Thierry Gale (winger) deciding between us, Dundee United or Aberdeen for his next move.

The first time the weather in north west England would be a positive!
