Have to say our recruiting has been poor other than the U16s in recent years and only a few of them will make it as professionals. Peterborough have also just signed a cracking young wing back from King's Lynn - only seen him once but he was the best player on the park by a country mile. Bench warmer at best for now, but next year... There are some great young players about like that lad Hickey who played in the Scottish cup final last week at the age of 16 and totally looked the part. New owners need to sort the scouting out. Until the new owners are in place that is all we will have - and any of those can technically walk away for free if they choose. Lads out of contract will take offers elsewhere because well, they can't hang around and hope. Quote
