Been discontinued according to Heineken... That and the 'Radler' - which isn't surprising. We Brits either drink or we don't... Hence 4×330ml Becks Blue for a £1 in HB. I think they were knocking out 0% Kopparberg for about 25p a can not long ago. There's no appetite for low/zero alcohol stuff here in the UK. Quote

Having to walk around the internal perimeter with two armoured prison officers. Trying to save the lives of the very people who set fires by putting them out. I never actually got to the inside. Once they’d shipped the inmates out they also scaled down the attendance and we never went back. Quote

Not always easy, but likewise always buy British if I can. Write to your supermarket if you think they could do more. Farm shop I go to always has big Spanish onions, but I choose the local ones for example. The French apples can get to fuckery. Quote

Try buying frozen British ones (assuming they're available), and defrost a few overnight in the fridge. Or maybe buy in bulk when in season and freeze your own. Not going to get fresh British ones now. Choices, choices- joy of the supermarket. Quote

Eu laws, as you well know, prevented it. It was one of the things that Cameron asked for, but the Eu said nein. Quote The Labour MP Dawn Primarolo led a successful campaign 20 years ago to cut VAT on tampons from 17.5% to 5%, but governments since then have said EU rules prohibited dropping the rate further. The Treasury pledged to scrap the tampon tax in 2016 following the Stop Taxing Periods campaign launched by the student Laura Coryton, but the promise fell by the wayside after the government failed to change EU law. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/mar/11/rishi-sunak-confirms-tampon-tax-will-be-scrapped Considering the source is the Guardian, its unlikely to be pro Tory. EU memebr states do not have the rights, under EU law, to unilaterally designate items as zero rate, or exempt. Quote

The Tories voted the proposal down. Quote
