It was voted for and passed.

Lets not forget we lost lives defending an Island full of puffins a few years earlier.

Genuine question, what were your thoughts at the time?

Where my lad was going to move to when his apprenticeship had completed and how, after losing to Liverpool, we stuffed Sunderland, Tottenham and Man City with Jay Jay to the fore.

Starmer promises the biggest shake up of the political system on record - closing the Lords and decentralising governmental power here

As every party apart from the Tories also has Proportional Representation in their manifesto this time around it may mean seismic change and could well be popular if sold as "giving the power back to the British people".

He'll promise you free handjobs to vote for him. You would never get them.

Not certain that proportional representation would be as good for your side of politics as you might hope. Sir Nigels new party might do a lot better than might be predicted.

I'll believe it when I see it. I don't think Starmer has the bollocks to shake up much.

I thought Labour were swerving the PR vote?

FPTP is bollocks though and the fact I don't even get a vote because the Speaker is my MP is even worse.

Reform of the Lords is well overdue though, been some very odd appointments over the years.

The Labour Party hasn't committed to Proportional Representation in their manifesto. Their membership voted in favour of it but Starmer has refused to commit to it.

It's not difficult to see why he refused given their current position in the polls.

If you think about it PR is not entirely consistent with decentralisation so it's understandable.

The net is closing in on the bent tory twats

PPE was always likely to be what tripped em up

It was utterly blatant. You always get bad eggs in every government regardless of the colour of their rosette but this has been the worst for cronyism, corruption and downright shithousery.

Mone taking a leave from the Lords

They wouldn't notice as she is hardly there. I think this and Johnson's peerage list are why Starmer is gunning for The Lords as it could become something in the next couple of years.

John Prescott was always dead against a member of the lords whilst an MP

The minute he got offered it he was in

Apparently that means she can't be investigated as she isn't a sitting member of the Lords

A coincidence?

Hope the can of worms is well and truly opened, corruption dealt with by prison sentences, repayment of any money earned via said corruption and if it goes right to the top then so be it.

It goes much further than big tits

You just don’t understand trickle down economics.

Think of all the philippino domestics that the money she extorted from the taxpayer can pay for. And even though they only work on her offshore properties and boats, eventually that money will trickle down into the prepayment meters of our NHS staff.

So shut up right?

She’ll get away with it because of all the hair and tits and teeth.

If she was a Labour peer, she’d be a Scottish slag, of course. But as she’s a blue, she’ll got a free pass off Bolty and co.

It will be a landslide the next election.

Still two years to go yet tomski, much can change within that and although Labour may be the largest party I can’t see them getting anywhere near a landslide. Link up with the SNP the most likely outcome for me as Sturgeon is replaced after recent events up there?

Everytime this gets mentioned, am I going to have to sound the billy bullshit dogwhistle idiot klaxon?

There is going to be no deal with the SNP. They are fundemntally against what the Labour Party stands for ie a united kingdom and no single issue party will get close to them.

Its been said at the conference, on the news, in the commons. It will not happen.
