SatanGreavsie
Th'East Midlands Whites are just back and are drinking heavily. Late thanks to the fuckers shutting the A50 at Uttoxeter. On the way up got diverted by some stupid bloody route via the north end of Stafford; on the way back tried the A52 up in the hills in the fucking dark, which is not much fun (conk out there and the locals would make sure there'd only be a well-picked skeleton left come daylight). Silly me for thinking that in this day and age you might actually be able to drive just 100 mile without being shunted round half of two counties in order to service whatever meaningless roadworks they're doing (what the fuck needs doing to a relatively new road that has constant but hardly excessive traffic on it - what the fuck is Uttoxeter suddenly set to become? A fucking spaceport?); and then when you hit the fucking M6 you're in the same shite that's been going on for the last two years. Two fucking years! As I said to the esteemed Haywood White of this very board at the game, the Japanese would have had it all fettled in a couple of months. It's all fucking criminal and people in charge of our roads and rail will undoubtedly get a knighthood for their effort (and donations) but in fact should be in fucking jail. Cunts. Anyway, at least we won

marple whites
Very good, ground out win. Hobbs and Lowe were solid and really good. Magennis worked his tripe off nice touch from no one when he scored and also thought the little Turk had a decent game. reasonably impressed with what the goalie had to do when called upon. another win,. Another Clean sheet . i love Saturdays when we win.

Leyther_Matt
Great to see the team - and the fans - bang up for it. Sometimes a twat of a referee helps on that front along with a couple of pantomime villains in the Derby number 20 and Carson. Some fine vitriol directed Carson’s way second half and, judging by the number of times he screwed his kicks up, it got to the cheating bastard. Should be ashamed of his antics trying to get Magennis sent off. Yes, it’s ill advised to slide in on a keeper these days, but he was at least a foot away from even making contact with him, not that you’d think so when Carson was rolling around holding his leg. I’d expect much better from such a seasoned pro. In a similar vein, thought it was a bit cunty that Lampard was applauding the late challenge on Grounds in the second half when the ball had already gone out for a throw. Derby’s shithousery aside, to look so rarely threatened against such a highly fancied side showed how well we set up. Some folk don’t like it but I’m more than happy to allow sides to have plenty of ball around the halfway and just sit off letting them pass the ball between their defence and midfield without actually getting anywhere. The entire midfield in particular worked their nads off all afternoon and it was great to see Buckley and Noone link up for the goal given they cocked it up a few minutes earlier. Slight disappointment that Williams didn’t play in Doidge as that would have surely sealed it, but Williams had a cracking game otherwise so can’t grumble. Thought Doidge made a couple of decent runs for what it’s worth although I’d have thought Donaldson might have offered a bit more in holding the ball up late on. Special mention to the ball girl lobbing the ball over Carson’s head in the second half. And the final note has to go to Stephen Darby. Proper dust in the eye moment when Noone ran over to celebrate with him.
Matt Lofthouse
Fantastic effort today, really enjoyed that. That’s our best back 4 I reckon, so hope Hobbs stays fit. I really like the look of oz, simple passes here and there which just kept us moving and kept possession instead of a hoof back to them. Onwards and upwards. CSBWFC
Much better second half , back 4 solid loved the 2 tackles second half one in the box and one just outside . looks like Parky has an idea of how to play at home we just need to retain the ball better,
Traf
Best home performance for some time. We did a lot of the simple right, stuff we normally fuck up. Magennis excellent up top, ran selflessly for the team won every header and had their entire back four looking over their shoulders all game. That threat disappears with the light weight Doidge, perhaps Donaldson should have been the sub? Oztumer brings class and composure and was allowed to do that because Lowe played so well. And Hobbs was excellent.

Just need a nickname for the fucker as i can’t shout his name without spitting. Buckley showed more than I’ve seen from him before and thought defensively we looked sound. Proper dust in the eye moment when Noone ran over to celebrate with him. Spot on, agree with every word. It was very much a team performance with every player playing his part & sticking to the game plan of letting Derby have all the ball they wanted in their own half but giving them no time or space at all once they crossed the half way line.......tremendous commitment & team work. I loved the abuse that Carson got for his shameful attempt to get Magennis sent off which backfired completely by rousing the Wanderers' fans to get right behind the team, great support. ( though it's still baffling to see people leaving 5/10 minutes before the end of a game that's still in the balance !!! ) & don't get me started on that cunt of a referee......most pisspoor referees tend to balance out by giving bad decisions against each side but that twat seemed biased against us. Another 30 points from 36 games & we should be safe !!! Hurrah

Anyway, at least we won I feel your pain. Thought I'd drive up early yesterday to see my mum before the game. Left at 8am, 45 minutes later I was parked up in the second lane of the M6 in Stafford, watching the air ambulance land and sat there for an hour. Sure enough when it reopened there was a lorry at the scene and a completely mangled car. There a roadworks pretty much solid from J12 to J18 now, and with lorries trying to do 60 in narrow lanes in a 50 speed limit, there's an accident nearly every game now. Midweeks are completely impossible to. Anyway, the result made up for it. This time last year all the fans wanted was a team that battled and wouldn't give up, well we have it. Johnnyrotten
Re fans leaving early, how many of those are watching on concourse TVs? Why does the club encourage fans to leave the stadium early? I don't see this early evacuation at other grounds to anything like the same extent especially when winning. Traf
Re: the Magennis non-foul on Carson. You can't touch a keeper these days and Josh was on a yellow. Surely it's either a foul and a second yellow or no foul and the keeper gets booked? Somehow he fudged the issue. Re: the £30 walk up price, it has to be that way if you've sold 2000 tickets to Derby at that price. Drop it to a tenner and you'll not add that many to the crowd if we're honest, but you would lose £40k in away gate receipts. We've been through this so many times, cheap tickets have little effect.
