Mate it was rammed. Couldn’t believe it, I must have kicked over six old dears to clear a path

I went to marks’s (see what I did there) yesterday lunchtime. It was like the walking dead. Average age was 80. Stinking of piss (well heeled fragrant piss given it was marks’s) and they just don’t give a fuck. Half with masks on half without. Despite it being mandatory. No social distancing whatsoever. Picking stuff up putting it in front of their eyes breathing all over it and putting it back.

although sadly covid isn’t selective as otherwise it could be used to great effect to tidy up society.

Hold on, so it’s mandatory up there but the stores aren’t making them wear them?

Correct as the message is it’s not upto the stores to police it. It’s a criminal matter so they aren’t to intervene. All shops are doing it. Just letting folk come in as they please. Not heard of one fine being handed out yet. And it’s significantly less of a fine up here than in England

If there’s wide spread non compliance with directions about public health, it could lead to more punitive sanctions being made law and thereby an erosion of our civil liberties that we live and breathe and take for granted.

Went and picked my grandmas glasses up from Specsavers in Chorley, they had the markets on.

It was incredible how many people in the markets, all elderly, all close, none with masks.

It’ll be like a ghost town by Christmas

You shouldn't have gone to specsavers.

Attacking the messenger without disputing his points confirms you are either deluded, brainwashed, or stupid. Is anything he posted false?

I find this a tad disturbing if true.

27. It was reported the Irish tracing app cost £773,000 and works

28. The contract for managing our “world beating” app was given to the wife of a Tory MP, cost £13m in 4 months, it didn’t work

29. Even if you paid £50,000 to each programmer for 4 months work, £13m buys 260 programmers

30. The successful app used by Germany – which is open source – lists 17 programmers

31. Did we hire 260 programmers? If so, why? If not, where is the rest of the money?

It smacks of either incompetence or corruption.

Or maybe a little from column A and a little from Column B.

Wonder how that contract was written. Was the payment forthcoming regardless of if the app worked or not?

This is the type of stuff that needs investigating if true.

Just like we investigated the Prison contracts given to Theresa May’s husband in his role as major shareholder in G4S security services.

The fact shes an mps wife is not in question

Pretty sure at one briefing bozo sang her praises as an NHS 'expert'

2 points on that....she wasnt an expert on the NHS and 2, we needed an apps expert, surely
