Can't argue with the response of the NATO allies so far.

But it's all in vain. Vlad can't back down now.

Said it for ages, but Ukraine isn't his main prize.

Nothing to do with money either, pure Soviet land grab.

NATO think sanctions will deter Putin?
I can’t actually fault the actual nato response with regards to troop mobilisation however.
What do you think the main objective of Vlads game are? Genuinely interested to hear as don’t really buy into the soviet land grab spiel.

until next time.

Think a lot of people underestimate Chinas backing in all this.

They're madder than the Ruskis. Stick em together and itll go fucking nuts.

Sure Russia thought Ukraine would haved by now. There's ways to win a war without firing a bullet.

I do wonder if all the international condemnation and effort to back and supply Ukraine took Putin by surprise a bit, but such a gigantic build up of troops and equipment doesn't happen for nothing and they can't stay mobilised like that forever needing constant supply of fuel, food, repairs, motivation etc so somethings got to give one way or the other.

I'd hope that would mean de-escalation but it would represent a massive climb down from Putin and I'm not sure he wants to lose face in such a way.

NATO's symbolic mass build up continues with fully armed US fighter jets from Lakenheath and Germany heading to Poland and Romania but that was to be expected really, they'll not be shooting anything down. (8 B-52's arrived in the UK yesterday too which was some sight.)

There's still no way "we" wade into any conflict in Ukraine apart from supplying weapons etc and Putin knows that. As long as he keeps his war limited to that country, then he gets to show how big and strong his Russia has become again, whilst also avoiding annihilation by NATO.

As for China, they're a whole other problem 😬

Putin is mentle

Can’t emphasise enough just how much his legacy means to him. And he’s not got many years left at the top, so the clock is ticking.

He can’t lose face now.

Are you working for Russia Today? He's a big gaylord, he's a self-loathing bender who's had plastic surgery like a vain pufter, legacy my arse, he'll be deader than Peter Falk if he jeopardises some oligarchs' investments, he has receptive gay sex with MEN. He has herpes up his arse. He had an affair with Nigel Farage and he was the bitch. He's a dead duck fuck. He's also a dope-shooter.

I think Ukraine will bottle it diplomatically.

Either by force or their own people not wanting conflict with the big cunt next door.

Government will topple under pressure and the new bods promise not to join Nato.

My guess and its based on little other than speaking to a few ukranians years and years ago, who would be pushing 100 now, is that they wouldnt roll over and would literally fight to the death

Maybe the new generation are different, no idea

Exactly this.

Repeated articles with ordinary working people helping man trenches, training with weapons etc. They also have a very large military and are being supplied and trained with modern equipment.

Certainly no roll over for Putin.

i cant see it Happening

Bombing city's and Tanks Rolling in to towns

and the World just sits back and watches

The Russians shot down a passenger jet full of civilians.

The world simply had an enquiry in Holland.

Britain elected Boris Johnson as its leader.

An invasion wouldn’t surprise me at all.

Not to mention the inadvertent murder of a British Civilian on British soil.

Turkey shot down a Russian fighter, and Putin did fuck all.

As for Russian downing of passenger aircraft, its quite good that the world doesn't just go all out in the immediate aftermath isn't it?

It's not the only time- have a read about Korean Airlines 007, there is an excellent film about it too. Explains a lot.

Seriously how close is war between these two

What implications will it have on the rest of the world?

Can’t see it happening. Putin isn’t so mental. I hope.
